Does dryness effect negatively it? I live in area where it's really dry during winters and that causes issues with lot of stuff due static electricity build up.

On the opposite side. Issues come from stuff like sweat. Mainly on the hand itself as that creates friction between the hand and the mouse pad. It's the reason why it's recommended to use it with a gamer sleeve. Tho i would recommend a gamer sleeve regardless as it helps with friction regards less of sweat.

i also want it, i have a skypad 3.0, but when you see the difference its not worth spending the money for a little smoother surface and a rubber base. Its a nice upgrade but it depends how long you’ve had the superglide
