Tears begin to build up in your eyes as you grab your bag to leave but before you could stand up someone taps you on your shoulder. You turn around. It’s Braeden Lemasters. Your friend that set you up for the date. He had a welcoming grin on his face & was holding a large milkshake. He looked into your eyes & seen the overwhelming amount of sadness burning inside of you. His smile instantly dropped. “Hey no, it’s okay, it’s okay, don’t cry.” He says as he puts his milkshake down on the table. He gets down on one knee & puts your hair behind your ear. “It’s gonna be okay.” You move over to let him sit beside you. You put your head on his shoulder. With one hand he strokes your hair & with the other he holds your hand. “Let’s get out of here” he says to you. When you leave he buys you ice cream at an Italian gelato store & he brings you to his friend’s music shop, Cole, that he sometimes minds for him.
