I think the Super GT was rather like the ''predecessor'' of Rapid GT, rather than the F620, not to mention actual F620 originated in TBoGT anyways, love your IV vids

true, the F620 is also a Jaguar XK/Maserati GT while the Super GT is an Aston Martin DB9/Ferrari 550

Essentially, the F620 is based on the same in-game model as the Super GT, just updated with new details like lights and grilles. If you look at the middle section of the car and particularly the shape of the cockpit, you'll start to see just how lazy of a redesign the F620 was.

YO YO YO, that first track is amazing in VANS! It was my go to track when I was the hot and made everyone vans at the last minute. Or the one with the sharp 2nd right after the start the had a drop. I loved setting that up with service vehicles Edit: it was 'Heel and Toe'. Please please try it again with vans, I think you will love it. Vans make everything better! GG

Shame that GTA IV was an unoptimized mess on PC. I feel like PC is vital to keep an old game alive (through modding, custom MP). Big respect to IV, heavily underrated.

the furthest PH ever went with GTA4-esque handling was with Roman's Cab, never had any interest beyond that so its very unlikely that will change that plus nowadays it'll just be random all fodder, i doubt it'll be raced beyond the first time

I would begrudgingly accept a middle ground between the two games, but what I really want is for the driving to be twice as difficult as it is in GTA4, because then it would be so much fun!!! :D It should be dangerous (and really difficult) to drive at top speed in my opinion!

I prefer GTA4 handling over GTA5 handling for the same reason I don't drive open wheel and prototypes in games like iRacing and stuff, less grip = more skill and fun

They're completely different - speed and performance for the GTA 5 version of the car has no bearing on what it's like in GTA 4.

​@@CarlDraperI think your brakes would be pretty bad if you tried to slow down from 80mph in a regular 90s american car. The body roll is a little bit exaggerated though.

I think the best way GTA 6 could implement GTA 4 handling if is by having all the stock variants of cars handle like GTA 4 cars and have their handling improve and become more like GTA 5 with the different suspension upgrades, with ride height being a separate thing. That way you get all the bouncy fun with stolen civilian cars, while your upgraded personal vehicles can be more fine tuned.

gta 5's handling feels way to much like arcade racing, GTA 4's driving was much more fun then 5's in my opinion it should be harder to drive faster cars to make the racing a bit more driver then car

Love GTA 4, but the driving physics just aren't for everyone, myself included. I came back to the game recently, and my disappointment with vehicle handling really soured my mood. I really hope R* doesn't prioritize ultra realism for GTA 6

i think the realism made it better, its why gta 5's driving is less fun, every car feels the same barring speed, it sucks

@@thecoexistingrepublican6 Right, and I have an unwavering hate for ultra realism in games. R* will likely cater to a mass market overall. How far they take it has yet to be seen. But if you want GTA 5/6 with this type of weighty handling, there is and will be modded lobbies on PC that will cater to your demographic.

@@wingblade6023 couldnt you argue the same for yourself to have nodded lobbies with more arcade like driving, more unforgiving driving mechanics will make gta races much more competitive and will also work wonders for free roam as a slower car can outperform a faster car depending on the driver which makes for a better experience with car chases and getting away from unfriendly players, the arcade like driving makes the game way to easy when it comes to driving
