Thank you! I love paint - today I am working on vinyl flooring and then later, my favorite part - carpet!

Think about using the white vinyl heat wrap. That would be perfect. It's not expensive. All you need is a $14 Harbor Freight heat gun to do it.

That's an interesting idea. I have not played with heat wrapping. Thanks for the tip.

@@timdillen There is some that doesn't require heat. I've never used it but I've priced it and watched a lot of KZbin. LOL

@@windymcgee6833 Not to resurrect this too much, but what is the heat wrap for? I just bought the same vehicle and this series has been a WONDER of a help

Your 16" width cutting limitation on your table saw is determined by your fence. Remove your fence to expand your width. Your ceiling looks like a melamine board and clear polyurethane in a spray can could match that manufacture's gloss. While your ceiling board is new I don't think you'd have to scuff the finsh to get a clear gloss to stick. Sure looks good from my recliner !!

2 great tips! I did not think of a clear spray. I can try on a scrap piece and see how it adheres and looks. Thanks!

Wow! She looks great....”slaughter” that panel of wood...so funny 😂. That would be me! Thanks for showing the finish washer - never seen that before. Any more ideas on cabinetry and layout?

I am learning so many new things daily. Today it is vinyl flooring - never done that - hoping it goes well. I think the kitchen will be a standard 36" sink base, a 12" drawer base, a 36" over the fridge hanging cabnate and a 12" hanging cabnate that sits on the counter (if there is enough height. Just going to use stock Lowes cabnates and paint them myself to match the walls. The sink base over the a/c unit will be a bear to modify without it falling apart.

I was in the flooring business for 40 years. The trick to cutting a perfect vinyl floor is to make a paper pattern. Armstrong makes a kit with everything you need for $20. at Lowes or Home Depot.

Bent Nickel Hi Brent. Agreed. There is no vinyl flooring that doesn’t off gas voc’s other than Marmoleum which is more $$ and harder to install. Vinyl plank passed technical standards for me but continued to off gas for a full 4 yrs! I am always concerned about occupant health esp for full time rvers who live in a small space.

mishu Tempest in a tea cup. Any sheet vinyl manufactured today is safe. We're talking about less than 60 s/f, if you closed it up and ran the temp to 140 degrees in the direct sun, you might smell something the first time you opened the door, but within 48 hours after installation you won't smell anything, but the fresh paint.

Bent Nickel we’ll have to disagree. I test products for third party certification and CMHC in Canada. No sheet vinyl or carpet for that matter (other than NZ wool) pass our standards for human health or pass our Indoor Air Quality standards for LEED Certification. Unfortunate but true. You are right about sunlight and high temperatures - its one of my tests.
