If I get crossfire and successfully treat a bed bug problem, how would I prevent them again? Specifically I love in an apartment. Not a big complex, just ground levels with a neighbor on each side which I am positive is where I got them. What can I do to keep them out?
@GreenAkersPC5 жыл бұрын
The best way to prevent bed bugs is preventive pest control either by yourself or a professional

@Philip the world is flat too… lol is everything a major conspiracy to you? I recommend crossfire because it works and it’s on Amazon. Don’t believe me? That’s ok. But I use it in my business every day. I did 3 bedbug jobs yesterday and used it at every home. Bedbug 911 is horrible and will never work. Buy some and do a KZbin before and after. I’d love to see it.

Jason i have used crossfire and still continue to get bit on my neck almost ever night. I can't find any signs of bedbugs. i have paid for your video and watched it. Treated everything like you said. I ripped out my carpet. i have deep crawl up traps under bed post . i found signs when i first started getting bit on the mattress. I got rid of the mattress. My house is on ground level in a wooded area. I have found oriental cockroaches . At first i thought they were bed bugs. Middle TN area. I have also used Gentrol as well. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

It can take several weeks or months for a untrained person to eliminate bed bugs from their home. It can be done though so dont feel defeated. If you followed my course you should be successful but dont use the traps on the beds they dont work

@@GreenAkersPC but simple alcohol kills them?
@GreenAkersPC3 жыл бұрын
Alcohol has no residue. It evaporates almost as soon as it’s sprayed so it’s a contact kill. Bed bugs have eggs that hatch on a 10 day cycle. Not to mention the majority come out at night when you’re asleep and unconscious. How are you going to spray alcohol on a bug when you’re asleep
@philfrizzell4571 Жыл бұрын
Most that stuff does work but only on contact
@earlyaccessgaming75324 жыл бұрын
What about Mites? Do they share all these immunities as well?
@GreenAkersPC4 жыл бұрын
No but because mites are a different type of bug a lot of otc pesticides don’t kill them. Typically you need a miticide or a label specific to mites and other bugs. Read the labels

It seems that they ( Walmart ) sell the effective stuff at a reasonable price online . Crossfire for example . I have been having a bed bug war for about the last month using useless aerosols. Started using Temprid and Gentrol igr ten days ago using the gallon sprayer. Did a second treatment yesterday and just now had a baby one crawl across me . Gave me a fright . I don’t have an I infestation just a few and a bite or two every other night. Was getting discouraged, but ran across your videos in my research and you have brought me some hope . I am going to be ordering and doing a cross Fire treatment or two seeing and reading many positive comments. I still have a lot of Temprid and Gentrol left . Is it true that Gentrol igr does not work on bedbugs ? Thank you for you and your positive work .

Jason, what insecticides work other than crossfire? I have sprayed all of my beds, my couch, cracks, crevices, etc. very thoroughly monthly with crossfire for three months. I covered hiding spots of every area in which I sit or stay still for prolonged periods of time. I followed the label to a T, but I am still getting bites. I know you mentioned Alpine WSG, but it cannot be applied to mattresses. Does Bedlam Plus work? I'd appreciate any advice you have. Also, would it be worthwhile to try a dry ice carbon dioxide trap for detection purposes? Most of my bites seem to occur when I sit on the couch, so maybe I could place one there.
@GreenAkersPC5 жыл бұрын
You may be bringing them in from an outside source. This is very common and if you can track down the source they should die off from the crossfire treatments. Alpine WSG is very good for cracks and crevices but doesn’t last as long as crossfire
@adamsumner35035 жыл бұрын
@@GreenAkersPC Are you sure none have become resistant to crossfire though? I experimented with not sitting on my couch for a week and got no bites. Whenever I do sit on the couch to watch TV, I get bites. I sprayed it thoroughly with crossfire several times. Other than that, I'm not getting bites anywhere else: not in my bed, not at work, not in my car, etc.
@GreenAkersPC5 жыл бұрын
I have never run into resistance yet. I guess it’s possible. Are you removing the felt under the couch and treating up inside the frame as well because you need to do that too. Some couches are so hard to treat I have recommended one throw their couch out but it really all depends on how well one can treat the insides
@adamsumner35035 жыл бұрын
@@GreenAkersPC I have been flipping it over and spraying every part of the inside I can reach. But I would say it falls under the category of couches that are hard to treat - the interior is very intricate and most certainly allows for hiding places I probably can't see. I may end up throwing it away. Thanks for the advice.
