As a complete novice I appreciate people with more experience giving a demonstration on cheaper, beginner bows, especially when I don't want to spend a ton of money on my first bow, thanks for this, good video, would love a demonstration on the components and how you set up everything.

I have one I bought on black friday two years ago for $111, put on a trophy ridge whisker biscuit ($31), limbsaver leeches ($9), limbsaver xcoil stabilizer ($13) and had basspro put on my d-loop nock and peep for $20. Left on the stock sight but sighted it in at the range. For $180 its a sweet setup and shoots roughly 235 maxed out at 62.5 lbs. Next to shooters with hoyts and pses they are usually impressed with the cost vs performance when I shoot a hair slower but plenty fast enough with a bow that costs around 75% less. Heck my spot hogg release cost almost as much as this whole setup (worth it btw) and I've found the shooter and not the bow give most of the results, don't let the weekend warriors fool you. My piledrivers fly out of this thing and bagged a forkie using montec g5s last fall. Wouldn't recommend expandables with this, i feel like you need the full power to punch through and at these lower speeds and I'm not sacrificing any kinetic energy if I can help it. Rear deployables may work but I haven't tried them.

Watched this video last week and wound up purchasing one for my nephew. Wasn’t sure if he’d be interested enough to keep with it and this was minimum investment. I was pleasantly surprised with this bow. If he likes it and wants to continue in hunting etc. I’ll buy him something better next year. Thanks for the review guys.

If the sight falls off when you shoot, you know its a good bow!

First thing I did with mine was switch to a medium whisker biscuit rest. The one that comes with it blows. The sights are actually OK, but there's also no peep sight so you may need to add one depending on how you shoot. Adding a trophy ridge H5 as soon as it gets here. Also no stabilizer/dampeners so invest in one of those also. Mine did vibrate a tad before these minor cheap additions. About 350 total and it's good to hunt.

hello, I'm having trouble knowing which size of the bow string to be able to buy, mine is worn, could you tell me the size or a link to buy one?
@Bulletarrow933 жыл бұрын
That is hard to tell. I would tell you to go to a pro shop and they can measure it

The diamond infinite edge is a way better bow that doesn't cost much more. My sister in law has a vortex and my daughter has a infinite edge. The infinite edge is way better

The bow is a plenty fine machine. The sight is the same. The 3 arrow rest pads will wear far too fast. I'm self-making pads from nylon. The best solution for some people will be to buy a whisker biscuit or drop-away rest. The quiver doesn't hold the arrows tight enough, so the stored arrows may fall out. Seems a lot of companies need to Quickly learn to stop dealing with the communists of the world. So the quiver needs the arrow pinchers removed from the frame and replaced with a stronger flex plastic. Those two accessories are not the bow, tho, which, again, is a very short, lightweight bow with no real deficiencies and some great benefits.
