That's fair. Or face lawsuit to pay for the salary of all the employees doing it, the attorney fees, court costs, and get a judge to put the child in juvenile camp for 6 weeks and then to therapeutic foster care with Parents willing to give her structure and discipline for 18 months, and force the parents to go to weekly parenting classes during that time. .

The people yelling, you don’t know what she is going through…… I don’t care what you are going through, doing that type of stuff should never be condoned!!!! That is like saying murder is ok because of what you might be going through. Or grape is ok, because the perpetrator was going through something. Or yea, stealing is just fine because you’re going through something. Seriously, 😒 Nothing should condone this behavior.

A thousand times this 👍 Not correcting this behaviour swiftly and confidently, we (as a society) are teaching kids that this is an appropriate way of dealing with their emotions, and that they are in charge and untouchable no matter what they do. There are tonnes of videos of adults showing the same attitude towards other people and towards the police. This type of immaturity is downright scary.

Then, the police need to be called to take the child and begin an investigation, and not continue to wreck the store. I've heard of abused children acting out violently because of pent up anger, so if this child is being abused, wouldn't it be best to help her by getting the police involved?
@sbielec30
@sbielec30 8 күн бұрын
@@guerralg63 Abused or not, this behavior should not be condoned. It could potentially lead to the learned behavior, that when you have these emotions this is how you respond. Justifying this behavior is just as disgusting as the behavior itself. There are plenty of other ways to express yourself. Destructive behavior only escalates until someone is hurt. Telling her it is ok to act this way, because you were treated horribly is not what she should be hearing as she destroys. This only affirms that this behavior is acceptable.

This may be TL:DR for some. I'm a former Walmart employee. While this incident is undeniably appalling, the reasons behind the child's behavior are unclear. As Daniel suggested, it could stem from a lack of parental supervision, or as others have speculated, it might have been a deliberate distraction for theft. I read another option from a different channel saying it was all a stunt to go viral. How twisted is that idea. But who knows? I do know that Walmart’s policies for employees prohibit direct confrontation or physical contact with customers. This explains the lack of immediate action during the incident. However, if security was monitoring cameras or if employees notified them, they may have dropped the ball on responding in a timely manner. Whatever the case, Daniel is right-something needs to change. I pray our world sees improvement with our new presidency.

I’m not a racist but I am a mother and a grandmother and it’s despicable behavior. I hope the parent(s) get charged for this vandalism because her behavior didn’t start that day at Walmart. It started long before that at home. And she deserves some form of punishment also. If my kid did that, which they wouldn’t because they were taught to respect other’s property, but they would have went right back around that store and picked up everything they threw down and cleaned up any mess they made, just for starters. The parents should have to pay for all the damage. What is infuriating is that Walmart will pass on this expense to us shoppers that toe the line and pay up. Where is their security. So what if she is a kid? Is there a golden rule that allows kids to be A holes? Get the parents to cough up the money. Walmart do better. Stop allowing the rest of us to become victims because you have no guts to stand up against stupid shit that goes on in your stores. Glad she was filmed doing it. No expectation of privacy regardless of age if you act like a turd. And if she has mental issues, then parents should not keep her unsupervised. It’s their problem and their responsibility.

There are so many comments assuming the girl in pink is just some undisciplined “spoiled brat.” While I agree that her caregivers are being irresponsible by leaving her free to roam around in public like this, we can’t automatically deduce that she’s just “spoiled” and “entitled.” She appears to be school age physically and this is not typical behavior among even the most troubled kids in her age group. She may be neurodivergent, undiagnosed, untreated, and unable to communicate her frustrations. Her parents may not have spoiled her, but failed to have her evaluated a long time ago.

No one wants to get involved because these “Samaritans” may be accused of physical/verbal harm of this child by their parent/guardian. Absolutely a new height of entitlement. This video should be used as evidence of this bad behavior - it deserved being filmed.

I have one big issue with many comments. I dislike that they keep talking about how their parents would have "beaten my azz" and that is actually disturbing. Spanking is NOT "beating your azz". Spanking is a form of discipline and is never to be seen as "my mommy got mad at me." Spanking and other discipline is NOT because you are "angry" or "mad" at the child. It is meant to teach right from wrong. If the only message to the child is that you were angry/mad, then they did not learn WHY their action was wrong... they only learned that mom or dad was angry and that is the only reason why the behavior was wrong.
