This may be TL:DR for some. I'm a former Walmart employee. While this incident is undeniably appalling, the reasons behind the child's behavior are unclear. As Daniel suggested, it could stem from a lack of parental supervision, or as others have speculated, it might have been a deliberate distraction for theft. I read another option from a different channel saying it was all a stunt to go viral. How twisted is that idea. But who knows? I do know that Walmart’s policies for employees prohibit direct confrontation or physical contact with customers. This explains the lack of immediate action during the incident. However, if security was monitoring cameras or if employees notified them, they may have dropped the ball on responding in a timely manner. Whatever the case, Daniel is right-something needs to change. I pray our world sees improvement with our new presidency.

I’m not a racist but I am a mother and a grandmother and it’s despicable behavior. I hope the parent(s) get charged for this vandalism because her behavior didn’t start that day at Walmart. It started long before that at home. And she deserves some form of punishment also. If my kid did that, which they wouldn’t because they were taught to respect other’s property, but they would have went right back around that store and picked up everything they threw down and cleaned up any mess they made, just for starters. Where was security?! Aren’t there cameras that monitor shoplifting? They had plenty of time to see this or be called upon! No one wants to get involved because these “Samaritans” may be accused of physical/verbal harm of this child by their parent/guardian. Absolutely a new height of entitlement. This video should be used as evidence of this bad behavior - it deserved being filmed.

There should be a new rule if you can't control your child then parents need to be arrested it.

Did her parents pay for the damages she caused? Her parents need to pay for her actions.

I doubt it - child services needed to be called as well.... I'd like to know what happened but I doubt anything was done. The parents needed to pay for those damages.

The mom and her spoiled progeny need to be permanently banned from this store.

Where was the store security? I realize the regular employees aren't allowed to do anything, but surely security could have intervened.

@@tuffstarr1026 Have pride in your party of losers who raise monsters like this and blame Republicans for all of your failures. I have one big issue with many comments. I dislike that they keep talking about how their parents would have "beaten my azz" and that is actually disturbing. Spanking is NOT "beating your azz". Spanking is a form of discipline and is never to be seen as "my mommy got mad at me." Spanking and other discipline is NOT because you are "angry" or "mad" at the child. It is meant to teach right from wrong. If the only message to the child is that you were angry/mad, then they did not learn WHY their action was wrong... they only learned that mom or dad was angry and that is the only reason why the behavior was wrong.
