I agree 100% I actually bought one of these a couple of years ago at Walmart on clearance for $20. I think I put the battery in it to try it out, but quickly put the thing in my pile of junk tools. I bought the tool for the included battery AND charger! It is the same charger used in the Hyper Tough pole saw, that is an awesome tool. Now I have extra batteries when I am pruning branches!

I have to disagree with your review. I own one, and I also own a lawn care company, so I have tried so many gas blowers, and I have to say, this thing is amazing!! 7 minutes doesnt seem long, but unlike gas, it is not aways running. In contrast to the other higher CFM blowers, this thing is SO cheap! Worth the money, especially if you have any other hypertough products with extra batteries. This will also use the 40V battery. No freaking way this is a $50 blower.

Expected performance given the price. It seems better suited to hard surface blowing/sweeping than blowing leaves on grass. Home Depot has a Ryobi 40V, 500cfm/110mph blower kit on sale for $129, including a 4ah battery and charger. It has a variable speed trigger, too. Sure, it's double the price, but it's a better blower with a bigger battery and longer run time (and likely much quicker charge time). Plus, Ryobi is a much better platform to buy into.
@Kitearmy5 жыл бұрын
All good points - Not the biggest fan of Ryobi yard tools - but I do agree with you about the platform. If you can wait to memorial day almost all brands will be on sale - The EGO in this video has dropped to $150

I picked on up at Walmart on sale for $20. I have a pretty long driveway and it works well enough to save me sweeping grass clippings and leaves. I differ on the run time, used it this morning for about 5 minutes on turbo and when I went to charge the battery it still showed it to be fully charged, so went out and used it for another 5 minutes. Good enough for my needs, especially for $20. Echoing what this fellow said though, if you have a larger property or heavier needs, this is not the blower for you.

Andrew: Thanks for your link to this clip. Based on what I see, my vote is: 👎 But then, as you say, this one is one stripped off, off brand, poorly made model. It really doesn't justify to be compared to Harbor Freight 's Brushless, fast charging, high end (As claimed) blower: LYNXX 40V Lithium Cordless Blower with 480 CFM, one hour fast charging time, etc that comes at regular price of $149 or occasional sale price, as low as $100 ! I really like to see you make a clip on that (Using your ration and scientific criteria for assessment/comparison), as an example of low priced blower and proof to us, one way or another, if lower price is always a bad product or not. I'm sure a lot of other people are with me, like to know more about that HF model as there are not any reliable review on that model, here on KZbin. Additionally I hear a lot good words about "Corded" Vortex WORX WG520 TURBINE 600 12 Amp Electric Leaf Blower with Variable-Speed Control, that is only price at just north of $40, aparently an amazing price for what you pay, that is if cord is not a deal breaker. And equally important, I never saw you mentioned anything about Makita XBU02PT 18V X2 (36V) LXT Lithium‑Ion Brushless Cordless Blower that in a kit with charger and two 18V batteries come about $200, a great deal compare to your EGO superblower. And though noise is terrible with Makita and possibly the best to annoy your neighbors, but has a lot og claims about its power and professional nature of this brand (That has been totally neglected by sharp eyes of reviewers s.a. yourself!). Anyways thanks again for your good work.

I actually have the smaller version of the Blower ( RD20SP Sweeper ) that I bought in the Blower / Weed Eater Combo ( Walmart # 571974212 ) and for what they are I'm impressed, however, I only use the Blower for cleaning off my walkway and porch after cutting grass and the 20V Lion battery has been doing great for its second year so far. The Hyper Tough Drills are complete garbage, but, the Blowers seem to be ok, as long as you have a very small area, with not much debris. Watching you video here is telling me simply that upgrading to the bigger Blower your reviewed here would be a grand waste of time and money. One note of interest regarding the 20 Volt Battery is, if you look for the battery itself in the Lawn/Garden department they were priced at $34.00, however, if you look for it in the Tool Isle it was only $16.00 BEWARE OF WALMART PRICING TRICKS !!!!! These were both the identical battery ( HT19-401-003-17 20V Max 2.5 Ah ) in the two different departments.
