This one will not reopen so I'm assuming it wasn't one of their very profitable locations anyways. Im sure there are other stores but WM does generally have good prices compared to Target and Walgreens. Its loss will not devistate the community but it will have an impact. Set my wallet down next to the weight/blood pressure machine in Walmart because I wanted an accurate weight without it. Got up and continued shopping for maybe 3 minutes before I realized id left it. I was only in the next isle but that fast someone picked it up. I went to customer service where I was basically told they couldn’t do anything about it. But once they realized I wasn’t going to let the issue go (especially since I was stranded with no way home except my feet in the dead winter and probably a 2 hour walk) and that I wanted them to atleast review the cameras to see if the person was still in the store. I was told to wait and sure enough a few minutes later an employee comes up to me and says she just happened to find my wallet in the bathroom. My monthly bus pass, bank cards, & I.d. Were still in it but of course the only $250 in cash I had to my name was missing. Which I knew the second she handed it to me the cash was gone because I was at a Walmart in the hood of Philadelphia. The same Walmart that was destroyed/looted during the protests along with many surrounding stores.
