Good morning! I think Walmart has a button so they aren't allowed to substitute items. You should google the recipe for the Texas roadhouse butter. If you make it yourself it is only like 5 ingredients and not all the extra junk in it! Kale is super good in soups as well as smoothies! For your nots you can get the plastic snack bags for about a $1 and by a big package of the nuts you want and make your own! It is so much cheaper! You can also add dried fruit in them as well. Almond milk is another thing that is really easy to make and a lot cheaper than the store bought. You can also sweeten it naturally using dates. I have been buying zucchini at the farmers market and freezing it. They say to blanche it but I haven't yet and it seems okay so far. If it gets soggy I will just put it into soup or make bread with it! We live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and they have a dish here that I had never seen before. It is cheesy cod. you just sprinkle a little shredded cheddar on your cod at the last minute while cooking so it can melt! It sounded weird but I am glad I tried it! That is house we make it now lol! I wish we could do the Walmart thing where they deliver but we are too far away and we only go to the city when hubby has a Dr. appt. But when we do we also go to Aldi's and the Dollar Tree. And we fill up our gas tank. Normally it take a month or two before we need to fill up. The last time we filled up was August 22nd and we are now between 1/2 and 1/4 of a tank. We try to keep our expenses down.
