Is your dominant hand your right hand ? If so , now this for me idk it may help ya to . I throw jerk baits and top water baits that require the twitch twitch pause with a spinning reel. Cause it allows me to hold my pole in my dominant hand , I find this allows me to to better give those baits a better twitch twitch pause motion. Idk it seems I can better control the bait .

Yea im right handed. My new baitcaster is a left hand reel and I got it just for the reason you stated. This one was cheap and I didn't know if I'd like them or not.

@@FishingWithZach cool I hope it works out for ya all my life I was one of those guys we all do it I think 🤔 I would cast ight headed then hand it over to ole lefty , ok, this yr I bought a high speed gear ratio reel by Lew's it's sweet yet it was the opposite I always used . But for $3.00 I said I'll make it work. Ok, but I'm glad I did I discoverd oh wow 😳 it's night and day how I can control my bait better. I think u might find it's so much better . I hope ya catch ya the mother load on it . Idk if you got my comment but a lil what I was explaining to ya about the inlet we fish tail end from the damn , I put a post on my FB page about it , and a similar spot with key like features that match the one we fish . Check it out I hope it can help us ha e some fun and catch em a new way in a new place.

Oh I like it so much better for all types of fishing! I still favor a spinning reel but I'm liking the baitcasters more no that I got a left hand one. I thought i responded to it but I'll have to check it out
