We do have paper plates in the UK and they are sometimes used for parties but it just wouldn't occur to me to use a paper plate for every day use. I don't know anyone who would use a paper plate at home unless it was for an event so I think you are right, we just don't 'get it'!!!

Hi Michele! I buy the nuts for baking at Costco. I keep them in the freezer. They keep so long. Just after opening make sure you keep them in a freezer bag.

On the nuts if you put them in the freezer they last forever 👍🏼 I usually buy a big bag of walnuts at Costco because it’s a cheaper way to buy walnuts the smaller bags are expensive but it usually can be any type of nuts 👍🏼 I agree 100% with you Michele on the Peanut Butter Cups that’s the only time I buy them on Holidays because I think they taste better too 😋 otherwise I never buy them .

Most mornings I have sourdough toast with peanut butter and jelly and I always use paper plates!!! Just now made egg roll in a bowl so I’ll have to dirty a bowl. 😂😂 I love all the paper plates you got! Don’t worry about the naysayers. ❤❤

Hi Michele!!! I liked the look around in the stores. Good hauls ...you got some good stuff. Nice to stock some items up. Yes, I have thought my can Coke-Zero tasted flattish. I just ordered some bottles from Walmart today .I get it delivered to my house. I will see if that's better. I'll let you know. I use paper plates all the time, but didn't when younger. Only for picnics. Guess I was raised that way but now with no kids at home or even when they come over with the grands, I use paper plates, it's so much easier and quicker. Nothing to wash. Karla in Cali.

We used to have bagged milk in BC many moons ago but now we have plastic jugs. I guess Eastern Canada is still into bags. When you don’t have a dish washer, why not use paper plates to give yourself a break. And they are recyclable. So win win for you Michele. Get a grip complainers.

We use paper plates big and small as well as bowels from Costco every day.Lol.I have enough dishes from cooking daily so if we can reduce some were all for it!..We have friends that do the same thing...Dishes are all done by hand.

Michele, I agree with you when it comes to tee shirts, cotton is best! In fact, I love my old (worn out) cotton tees the best. There's nothing wrong with paper plates. I think it's fun to have something festive.
