I think what you are feeling is a form of survivor’s guilt. But it’s also just compassion for those struggling. It can certainly be hard to know how to really help those in need……a trusted source is hard to find. It’s really awful that it’s this hard to really get people the help they need. We are definitely praying for them, and praying for solutions to help. It’s quite on fathomable. We are just a couple hours away and I was so unaware of how devastating it was for a couple days because I don’t use social media, that’s why it took so long before I even reached out to you. I was just clueless initially. ❤

Great haul. Keep the laughs coming 😂. I love it. Prayers are needed. I know people who live in WNC, and what is shown on tv is nothing compared to what is not being shown. So much is needed in the rural areas, where the roads are gone. So donate to churches, whatever you can help with. Bless you

I definitely understand the heaviness and sadness you are feeling and also the guilt. This is the first natural disaster that has impacted a community where I live and so many emotions are raging inside. Definitely need folks to continue praying and giving as God leads. Being on the outskirts and seeing the effect in my town, I can't begin to imagine what those in the hardest hit areas are going through. So heartbreaking but praying God will use this for His glory somehow!

Check with local churches if they are organizing volunteers. Also, Samaritan's Purse is helping in the area. They are a NC based Christian relief organization that's headed by Billy Graham's son.

I have been saying the same thing! We live in N GA..if the storm had not turned..it was headed straight for us.. I feel guilty also!.. I donated.. a friend was taking supplies..and i told her to buy thise babies and kids coloring books..crayons . Stuffed animals..craft s and toys...those babies need some type of normal and comfort!

Your videos make my Sundays. I was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer and had a radical hysterectomy. Oct 14th I start chemo treatments and Oct 15th I start radiation treatments

Hey sweet friend. Hope you're doing well this lovely Sunday. I'm so glad y'all survived Hurricane Helene. We sent and are sending another big truck up those affected by the hurricane. I ask y'all to please continue to pray for me. I do have a tumor on my left temporal lobe. They still haven't said what size it is, but he did say he doesn't want to do anything with it right now. He wants me to contact him if my headaches get worse, which he did give me a prescription for the headaches. I appreciate all of the prayers and continued prayers. God Bless.

I recently changed my dog’s food to one from Tractor Supply. It’s called 4health. I get the beef and rice flavor. My dogs love it! Once a day I top their food with a little bit of cottage cheese and/ or pure pumpkin. They LOVE it!

Don't feel guilty, there is a reason why all this happened , the Bible says we are not to ask why God allows things. Sometime we forget who God is and what he can do, Praying is what we all must do, but Thanking God everyday for what he has giving you , is what he wants us to do.

Yes, I know how you feel. I want to just go and help do something, but what? Bring a changing of clothes. They can’t wash. Where is the Tide truck, that has the washing machines? FEMA has to control everything, they say it’s hard to help, because the government gets in the way. My heart breaks for these people. The heart medication or their regular medicine, I would think contacting the local emergency management team, would be a good place to start. I wish I knew what to do! I’m sure they need towels, diapers, hand sanitizer. They say so many of the mountain towns you can’t even get into. I’m praying, the Lord can turn things around, better and faster than the government. Love your tender heart, Jennifer.
