Thank you, this has been very helpful. My aunt doesn't have a lot of money and her house is infected with bedbugs. I didn't know at the time but she came to visit my family for a week in Michigan. That was almost 6 weeks ago. I didn't know until the day she left that she had bedbugs. She's a great person and I love her dearly, so I can't be mad at her but now I am scared. She said she was very careful and bought new luggage, washed and dried all her clothes on the hottest setting possible, and kept her shoes in a closed bag when she was here. My dad, who worked for the past 20-some years in an apartment knows a bedbug infestation when he sees one, and has done thorough inspections about once a week since she left and has seen no signs. No one has any visible bites. Yet. I know it can about 6-8 to even see the bedbugs. Sigh. This is so difficult. My aunt has a cats and dog. And I have elderly people living in my house and a cat. I am a little scared of how chemical will affect them. Neither of our families can really afford a pest-control service. This has been so helpful, thank you.

Hi Jason, I'm about to spray CrossFire in my house and was curious about spraying our new mattress. My question is: if I spray the mattress, and then apply my fitted sheet, will the spray still be effective at killing bed bugs if they crawl on top of it? I haven't found any bed bugs yet in my bed and assume they're crawling from the base board or crack in the floor (which I will spray) but I'm trying to prevent them from reaching me in the middle of the night. Thank you for your videos! They've been extremely helpful and calming during these recent upsetting days.

This is a question that people ask me all the time. Bed bugs, after they feed, will retreat to the treated surfaces so don’t sleep any different than usual. Use the fitted sheet and set up everything like normal as if the bed bugs don’t exist

Hi we recently repainted and caulked all surfaces all base boards and ceiling crevasses in our home i woke up with bites on me this morning and am worried i have bed bugs. If all crevasses in the home are caulked can you simply bomb the house every day for a month? If so what bug bomb should i use?

imiprothrin and methoxadiazone (oxadiazole ) work on bedbugs from an aerosol can? Live in Japan and its the only chemical I can find. I was hoping to find crossfire but couldn't. Up until now I have been playing Wack amole with a steamer. Bedbugs aren't common here so finding an experiences exterminator is hard.
