Walnut and steel floating bed side tables

Using my Ooznest OX cnc and my ROHR WSME-200 tig welder to make awesome furniture
A few years ago I redecorated our bedroom, and promised to make some bed side tables. it's taken me a while to deliver on that promise. but at last, here they are.

Nice work, nice welding. When I am welding like that I tack on on side, check for square, (adjust with a hammer if required) then tack the other, check again then weld up fully.

Cheers! I think I'm just a little impatient, so go for welding a whole side. Obviously I should have the patience to tack first :-)

You could put a strip of leds in the groove you have made for de cross bar

@@filipe4952 yeah, I briefly considered drilling the holes when I built it, just in case. But I wasn't sure I'd ever use it. And these days you can get pretty good rechargable standalone lights. So I was thinking I'd find some small battery ones that would fit in the cavity.
