Very elegant with lovely timber grain on top. I watched how you cut your dados; it’s my experience that, with the router base in that position, there is a possibility (in my case an inevitability) that it will rock slightly against the straight edge and give you a slightly wonky edge. I now put the flat Sid of the base against the straight edge and hem it on with another straight edge so that it can’t wander. Or make or buy a figment for the router to clip onto the saw track and thereby eliminate any chance of movement. That timber is just too nice for me to even think about making an error!

thanks, i’m pleased you liked it 😀 There was definitely a lot of concentration cutting those, I really didn’t want to mess them up, just made sure I kept pressure against the straight edge 👍 I have looked at the attachments that use the saw track, I might invest in one in the future
