I think by now, it’s best to say “in my country, we call it”..because as a chef, I promise you, a lot of dishes are made around the world but by a different name. I see far too many people arguing over this instead of recognizing that somehow we all agree that “said dish” is delish and that’s why we are somehow invented it. ❤️🫶🏼in Armenia it is also called walnut Sujuk

Bro, this is 10000 percent Georgian. If anything is Georgian, it's Churchkhela 😂😂😂You don't even have a name for it. You just call it sweet sucuk, but that has nothing to do with the origin of the name.

This is not a Turkish dish. Its native to the general Caucasus region (Georgia, Armenia, etc.) long before Ottomans arrived.

It's armenian Sharots , arabs and other people from the region and neighboure make it but it's not turkish for sure,, because turks are nomads an nomads cannot make something that you should dry your whole life. So yes now turks make is also but it's just because they came to the region and start to prapare all tese dishes of the region

Disappointing that you used a complete other picture in the thumbnail. Your end result doesn’t even come close to that picture. In the thumbnail it’s nearly 80% but, yours had 80% jelly.

This candy is not the originated in Türkiye. This is from North of Iraq. I'm not sure why Turkey wants to take everything to themselves, such as the coffee. It's not Turkish Turkey cannot produce coffee grow coffee. It is Arabic coffee so this can be your making. It's not Turkish. It's an originated in North of Iraq. To the kurdish population seriously
