Painful memories. Heart bleeds. This was our Kashmir few yrs ago before the evil eye of enemies of Kashmir fell on our paradise. Can anyone tell who is a Muslim or a Pandit or a Sikh girl. All of them, free from any religious bondage or bitterness, together, putting their souls in their sweet performance and joyfully creating a soulful musical charm. Same for musicians, no Muslim or Pandit- just talented musicians, complemeting each other to create a wonderful piece. Compare this with the regimented looks of average Kashmiri student- boy or a girl - today and one cannot miss the nostalgia of yesteryears. Not to forget, all Pandit girls in this show are now aliens to their own land as if they never belonged there. Yes, heart bleeds and it is difficult to control emotions. Am reminded of old kashmiri song "Yi kamyu nee praetith mein pan pahar".😢
