Ok but where are their tusks?
@K1ng_Squ1dZ3 жыл бұрын
Sometimes they remove them for medical reasons or they put silver caps on the tusks to prevent them from breaking.

i hate how these vids get thumbs downs. most of these animals are rescues either injured or abandoned and yet some people are all like they should be "in nature" well yeah they were and it about killed them. nature is a vindictive bitch. see them acting like a 3legged cheetah is gonna be a productive member of the safari 🤨🤨

Amazing how docile they are I feel bad for them they can't be happy.
@treeboy836 жыл бұрын
what are you talking about they prob do this for minutes in the day and they never have to worry about predators or food ect, granted i think all the animals if this is to be done, have WAY larger pens and the food is near the window and leave it at that, also have 1 sided glass so they also dont feel like their being watched so intensly which alot of animals really dont like it could be done right and ethical
@codyoshea76156 жыл бұрын
@@treeboy83 Yes but there's no purpose of training them to do un-natural behaviour but this is just my opinion
@rbagel554 жыл бұрын
@@codyoshea7615 ,people train dogs and other animals all the time. Like a Police dog, The things he learns are unnatural to his instincts. But we can't say this makes them unhappy, can we ? I think these walruses are fat & happy.
@rbagel554 жыл бұрын
You people bitching about mistreatment should read on. Think about their life in the wild. Global warming has caused a decline in sea ice so they live on crowded beachs with as many as 30,000 other walruses. Much of their day is spent looking for food and it varies day to day on how much they find. Walruses do good in captivity. Other animals like Orcas don't mainly because they require lots of space. The people who work at these places. And if yhey are taught to perform a few tricks for shows well it's not like they perform these for many hours. Probably less than an hour a day. It helps pay for their huge food bill because an adult walrus can eat up to 100 lbs a fish a day. Hey, their captive life is probably better than their wild one in the time period

Males use them as weapons in the wild, like fighting off a polar bear, or another walrus who wants to get his girl. They probably cut them so they don't poke a trainer by mistake

wild animals should not be held captive and used for profit and human entertainment. it's inharently stressful for them and does nothing to educate the public about the species, their place in the ecosystem or the challenges to conservation.
@barbatanas76796 жыл бұрын
Clayton Paisley actually, animals who partake in shows are more intellectaully challenged and stimulated vs the ones who arent

Poor things. Very cruel esp when foreard nations do this
@hkkhgffh36135 жыл бұрын
Hopefully you are a vegetarian! Compared to the conditions in (US) jails or the way we breed our food most zoos are real luxury. Those animals are eager to interact and do this voluntarily. Nowadays most zoos take care that the animals are stimulated by toys training and interacton with their keepers.
@ar-vy1je4 жыл бұрын
Hkk Hgffh dream on that’s a stupid trying to justify abuse, you know they need much more space and freedom that being commodified! they have nothing to do with our created monetary system and now we have them working for their food and shelter when they had a beautiful whole sea to roam around

Deus Vult nope I think they’re kept in an enclosure the relative size of a fish bowl, bored out of their minds and forces to do stupid tricks for peoples enjoyment. Not to forget all the unnatural breeding programs they are forced into. I don’t get it if you want to see an animal so badly go to see it in the wild or a safari park.
@touchingisjustthefirststep6 жыл бұрын
They teach them these tricks with treats not fucking punch them or kick them if they fail to do so. Besides these animals get more fun here than sitting on the beach and fighting for dominance.
@luxtrous6 жыл бұрын
Stop swearing jeez and dude its unnatural for them to do this there suppose to be in the wild and they dont get fun thats just stupid they get tired and bored here also can you see their tusks yes absolutely not they removed it so they wont kill each other .

rbagel55 too fat because fed to much and too little space to move in🤬 normally they have a whole ocean and freedom and fresh food they catch in harmony and only when hungry now they get dead fish in a confined little space - woult you like to live in one house your whole life?? with corona lockdown everybody was going crazy over staying at home. dammit you are so stupid to think they are okay there in prison.
