It's weird that I'm one of the few people born in the early 2000's that actually misses this gimmick-based era, sure the new collector oriented figures are phenomenal, but there was a special charm with hasbro getting creative with their brand.

If you're talking about the Studio Series and Legacy figures being "collector oriented"? then yeah I suppose you have a good point since I also miss the gimmick era too. I know this isn't saying much either but for "cheap alternative" reasons? I'm probably thinking about getting mainline figures from any upcoming TF shows and movies instead of the Generations SS or Legacy ones for now on lol.

I never liked this era. Toy engineering took a huge nosedive in quality to make way for these gimmick lines that weren't even that fun, RID2015 happened, and even though I like age of extinction, it spelled the end of the live action series. Coming off the heels of the 2007 to 2013 era of transformers (it's second peak imo) , yeah this was a huge disappointment

@rangeetch.lahiri2120 I had these as a kid they were NOT fun for me back then. I wanted ACTUAL transformers that can actually transform not this boring flimsy garbage. That's just me though

@rangeetch.lahiri2120 True, even I always felt like the only Transformers fan to think Construct-Bots and KRE-O were cool Transformers toys back then since I use to have some of them, even the AOE ones lol.

Before 2015 the franchise was going crazy, i was kinda liking it even if most things are Beast hunters or Age of extinction themed

Probably my favorite sublines of this out of the four are the Construct Bots and Hero Mashers ones cuz' back in 2014 when I was 12? I use to have some of them like... *Construct Bots:* 1. AOE Grimlock 2. Ultimate Set - Optimus & Megatron 2 pack *Hero Mashers:* 1. Electronic Optimus Prime 2. Electronic Grimlock Good times :)

I own 4 Constructbots. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee (car only), Megatron ans Starscream. Those were easy to transform and fun to play with. Sadly I gave them away

Same, even tho' I only have 3 which are have the AOE Grimlock and Ultimate OP and Megs 2 pack of Construct-Bots packs and they were also fun to play around with too, really gonna miss Construct-Bots even tho' it's also a good thing I got eBay :)
