It just baffles me when these riders are building these bad ass hybrid bikes and quads and they work so well that the manufactures don’t build them. They would sell like hot cakes. Everyone wants power when it comes to this.

It’s the EPA that is the main opposition to two strokes.

@@quentinstore1464 that’s what they want you to believe. I’ve been told by a couple of pros that the 4 stroke makes them more money. Back when 2 strokes were coming to an end a 250cc sold for $4500 brand new, now the 450’s that replaced them sell for $10k Think about it, if the EPA was the issue, then why is Yamaha, KTM, Husqvarna still making 2 strokes to this day? It’s all about forcing people to buy a more expensive bike.

Been done to death and back. Cr 500 is a old mx bike motor and doesn't have a counterbalancer. So the vibration is just to much in a quad frame. It eventually just vibrates itself apart. Been there done that. That's why they used a quadzilla motor because it's meant for a quad frame/build. Just a badass dream quad this walsh hybrid.

Seems to be some confusion on what a hybrid is- any machine powered by the engine of another. Both machines used for this build are quads. No dirtbikes involved, and it is still a hybrid as stated.

Wrong. A hybrid is a quad frame with a bike motor. It can be 2 or 4 stroke. He even referenced Walsh's CRF450R hybrid.

Josh U any machine powered by a motor from another is considered a hybrid. For example an lt250r with 500r motor is considered a hybrid. This ltr450 is powered by lt500r motor, they are both quads and clearly it is a hybrid as stated
