Because you only get matched against people that are around your rank. Of course you won't see any low ranks if you're a high rank.

NorthDakGamer Unranked players that do well will be matched with Onyx players to see how they perform. If they perform well, they'll keep matching Onyx players and will eventually get ranked in Onyx, and if they don't, they will be put against lower-ranked players to see how well they do, and it'll rank them accordingly. Those unranked players you see in your Onyx games are only players who have done really well in their first couple matches. The unranked players that aren't doing so well get put against players of lower ranks.

TheChunkyPotato this isnt wholly true, me and friend hardly play and got 3 games in a row against onyx -d6 players and those were our first games out of the 10, we ended up stopping and blaming low player count

It's actually the exact opposite. The pistol has little to no magnetism in Halo 5, similar to Halo CE, which as mentioned above, Walsh was a god at.

Did you watch The Sprint, a series released by 343? in episode 3 there's a part about bullet magnetism. they only showed AR but it seems pretty high to me.

+James B Same here, except i seem to be holding my own despite knowing I am a lesser player. Maybe the onyx is a lot easier to hit in ffa, so imagine all the other people of our rank that will be in the lower onyx, meaning we are likely all together anyways

I'm Onyx in FFA and don't know how some people are. Last game I just went 25-9 and second place was 12-? need some rebalancing. Also, not many people play too aparently. I get paired with the same guys all the time (ea day is a different group of same randoms). Kampy even said he stopped because he can't really ever get a game up in really high Onyx.

+HDFearify +HDFearify Technically Elamite was the most successful Halo 3 player. (7) first place major wins. Roy only had (2) which actually was obtained only when Elamite joined their roster. Str8 Rippin tied at 2nd for most Halo 3 major wins at (4) all with Elamite. Now Pistola is at 2nd with (6) major wins. (3) with Final Boss, (3) with Triggers Down. I believe Triggers Down was first in Halo 3 with (5) major wins, which Pistola was part of for (3) and Snipedown for (1). However SK was there for all (5) wins. SK happens to also be at number 3 with (5) major Halo 3 wins. Snipedown had (4) major wins, (3) with Str8, (1) with Triggers Down. The team at first and the team tied for 2nd. So I suppose it rounds out to the best in Halo 3 being (*Elamite, Pistola, Snipedown, and possibly SK*)

I can't even play Halo 5, I renamed it to Call of Halo and it feels like an arcade shooter to me. Everything kills you fast and my KD in this game just plummeted. I can't transition what so ever. Too many things wrong with this game along with those god awful leather gloves we wear in multiplayer....

There are so many things that piss me off about Halo 5, from the OP assault/plasma rifle, the stupid noob-ass shoulder charge, to the shitty 2 feet radar... Halo used to be about landing the 4-shot with the BR and using radar and power weapons to take map control. Now with all this maneuverability and OP short range weapons any old noob can come up behind you with an AR or shoulder charge and kill you before you have a chance.
