I never understood why The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin were released under these compilations. They were new back then, so those should have been standard WDHV releases. This was also an issue that continued into the Masterpiece Collection starting with Lion King.

It’s not their fault, the aforementioned films received Emmy Awards at their respective times when they were each released.
