Happy to hear your experience in the Grand Floridian Cafe was great after a shocking experience in Narcoosee’s. To hear they didn’t take a vegetarian request seriously is disgusting. Especially as for some they will not eat meat for allergy or religious reasons being served meat could have great consequences. Glad the front desk put the situation right! Another fab vlog as always guys.

The Grand Floridian: A five-star property with Mickey Mouse service. That was my family's experience during the 1990s-2000s. Service has improved but I was very disappointed to hear about your experience at Narcoossee's. It's been one of my WDW favorites at the GF along with Citrico's which has a gorgeous bar. I'm happy the the hotel management made it right for your family. I do sense that servers in the States think the British customers are not going leave a gratuity. It happens. I've heard the chatter amongst tipped employees. I've witnessed many fellow Brits rescind their gratuities onboard cruises at guest services merely because they do not want to pay them, ignoring the fact that's where the tipped employees derive their income. I always tip the mousekeepers daily and that makes a huge difference during our visit.

Dean Valentin It was very disappointing but glad the GF turned it around for us. We felt bad for our grandparents more than anything, they had to experience something like that (which they’re totally not used to)

I've been there where I've had the worst waitress who gave me the most sarcastic attitude while spending a lot of money on food. There's having a bad day and then there's being and feeling like you're being treated poorly. Glad there was a resolution and that turkey sandwich at the Grand Floridian is absolutely everything.

Have to say I love the thought you put into the background music. (I'm an old video/cinema major from the way back age) But it does add a special touch. And that plate of Parker House rolls would have been my lunch. Those looked amazing. Too bad about the other meal but goes to show that y'all didn't let it spoil the evening. You adjusted and it seemed like the hotel tried to make it right.

Great vlog as always! We stayed at GF for our honeymoon 3 years ago and also had an awful experience at Narcoosees. Glad you moved reservations and overcame a negative situation. Can’t wait for the next vlogs x

It’s so fun to see how excited y’all get for Walmart ❤️👍. I cringe every time I am forced to go there. They do sell everything you need at the best price. But the Walmart’s by our house have the trashiest people in there with nasty attitudes. Yeah definitely not known for their customer service

Your video flowed just fine. You did a great job explaining. How sad your meal was ruined and good for you for leaving . I wouldn’t have had the guts and would have suffered through it and it would’ve ruined the evening not to mention the money!! I’m glad GF set it all right and hopefully that staff member is no longer a Disney cast member.

Such a shame that you had a very disappointing experience at that restaurant after a wonderful day at the parks. Even though the staff at the GF accommodated you and your family, I still think you should contact Disney Customer Service to report the server and management. I am positive Disney would want know that there is a problem in one of their top tier restaurants.

I live only 11 miles away from Magic Kingdom... just an FYI... one of the best times to come to Disney World is the 1st weekend in December, because everyone would have spent their money during Thanksgiving & you can actually walk on every ride. 😉😉😃😎

Have your grandfather rub his finger on some fabric before he goes through the gate and see if that helps. My daughter had problems on our trip in 2018 and a cast member told us to try that. Oils, lotions, food, etc. that you can't visually see can be on your finger which causes your fingerprint to not be clear. This summer she would give her finger a quick rub on her shirt and she had no problems.

I am so sorry you all had a horrible experience at Narcoossee’s. We went there a couple years back and had a wonderful meal and service, but I completely understand that places and servers change. We had a very horrible experience at California Grill. and have yet to return to there. So glad the GF resort as a whole made right the whole situation. And so glad the night ended on a positive note. Really enjoying the vlogs and your mum and grandparents are precious.

My boyfriend is a vegetarian. Disney is not great at catering for people who choose a meat free diet. They have improved over the years but still have a long way to go. It is the main reason we avoid the nicer sit down restaurant’s because the choice is so limited. Other than the fact he is a vegetarian he is not a fussy eater but the options are often very poor. If he would of had meat served to him and got a negative response from a cast member we would of done exactly the same. Mistakes happen which is understandable but poor service is not acceptable. Definitely expect more from a GF restaurant. Glad the front desk stepped in to resolve the situation.

I’m shocked you guys had such an unpleasant dining experience at one of the most popular signature dining locations on property. By the looks of your food at GF Cafe, I think you made the best choice to leave! I’m sorry it happened to you in the first place. Hopefully that CM gets relocated to another position. Apart from the Boathouse, we have found the signature restaurants to be very disappointing, not a huge upgrade on food quality over the non signature restaurants, and the service has either been over bearing and they want to be your best friend or they rush you out. Next time we go we won’t do a signature restaurant.

You probably don't know about Florida water. It's to be avoided! Starbucks triple filters the water so you can ask for a free trenta ice water when at WDW and taste the savings.
