I absolutely adored the monorail. Was a magnificent experience for me when I rode it. It was like riding a subway or train but in the sky. (I guess I can't really compare it to those things because I haven't been in either of those) But the one thing I didn't enjoy was the noisy loud speaker. I would have preferred the silence a lot better.

Do You Have To Take The Monorail From The Parking Lot To Get To The Magic Kingdom?

No. One branch runs a loop from Magic Kingdom gate to Contemporary Resort to Ticket/Transportation Center to Polynesian Resort to Grand Floridian Resort back to Magic Kingdom. There are also trains running the opposite direction because there are double tracks. The other branch runs from the T/T Center to Epcot, in only one direction as there is only a single track.
