I remember doing the auditions for this recording back in 2001. The hardest singers to cast for the recording were all of the children. After picking the children that would sing in this choir, each one needed work permits for the recording and rehearsals so it was so much administrative work. But, the recording came out beautiful. The only thing that sometimes bothers me is when the singers sing the word “dream” sometimes throughout this piece it sounds like “dweam.” The highlight is the magical voice of Tiffany Coburn who sang the theme, “Share a Dream Come True.” I remember back then that her singing this song at the end was the hold music at Disney on all of the phones that year. Her voice has a magical quality that was the perfect timbre for the song at the end of the suite. I couldn’t get this song out of my head that year. What a nice celebration this was. So much entertainment was added to the parks during this exciting time. Thanks for posting this.
