My husband met you as we were both leaving HS. I’m sorry I couldn’t meet you and be in the pic but unfortunately I was off to the side helping my daughter calm down from a panic attack. Her watching this and hearing that’s why you left made her feel that she’s not alone and not weird for having one in the parks. Thank you for being open and making them “normal”.
@glampingqueen22152 ай бұрын
So sorry about that, it is absolutely fine to take breaks and calm if you or your kids have anxiety. I teach kids with autism and have learned that we all have our things in life to deal with and just need the right tools

Adam! I'm so happy to see you normalizing people having anxious moments.... Both you and Gary are so verbal and such amazing ambassadors for all of us who understand and "get it" please note it does not take away even a teensy-weensy bit of your amazingness❤

I totally understand being overwhelmed and having panic attacks in the parks!! I like to bring over the ear noise cancelling headphones, sunglasses, and one of those cooling towels to help soothe and regulate myself. I also love carrying a UV umbrella on those mega hot and sunny days! I'm so sorry you had to go through a panic moment alone !

The point of the increased cost is so true. My husband and I can manage because it's just us (and I often travel with my parents or sister as well, so we can split costs across 3-4 adults). Hoping they remedy that in the future! Just bringing back the Magical Express would be huge.

Hello Adam! Long time subscriber here (and purchaser of your guides!), and I wanted to pass on some info about multi pass for you and others coming from overseas on how to get the 7 day advantage ( not waiting until you get in the US.) first, turn off location services, set in aeroplane mode, keep WiFi on. Next, change the settings in your myDisney app by pressing the three lines bottom right, scroll to my profile, account settings, country of residence, change to US, click done. Then close the app, log in again and you are all set! Hope this helps!!

We are just back from 12 nights staying at Pop, we timed queue times on some rides and most were showing more than the actual wait apart from Jungle Cruise which was accurate at 35 mins. If you can cope with the heat August is definitely a good time to go, we didn’t have waterproofs and never needed them, managed to avoid rain the whole time. Did buy one Lightening Lane for SDMT but got four virtual queues for Tiana’s (which we loved!!). Have enjoyed this series especially as you stayed at our favourite resort , thanks!!

My anxieties to fly have been squashed by watching your vlogs. I now feel fully prepared to fly, and now feel excited to board a plane. Many more to come and Orlando is coming next year. Thank you for sharing that feeling of anxiety and overwhelm. As a person with autism, this is something I feel regularly. I always used DAS to help but (I struggle with queues too) I’ve recently been told I no longer qualify. Unfortunately WDW Is now not a viable option for me, so I’ll live my Disney life through vloggers. If you’re able to (and I know you might not be able to) please raise awareness of the new DAS changes and how Disney are no longer accommodating disabilities. ❤

I agree that they need to bring those things back, and they have reversed things in the past. ie: Hotel car parking charge, which if it was still being charged, we would not be stopping at Disney for our Sept trip, we would be stopping at a villa instead.
