Our day starts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village in our one-bedroom villa. From there, we have a look around the Kidani Village family pool, the pool bar and then hop on a Disney Transport bus to Animal Kingdom. We have a quick look around the Riverside Depot merchandise shop, before checking in for our Rainforest Cafe reservation. We're using the Disney Dining Plan on this trip, so I talk a little about how much the meal would have cost, had we not been on the Dining Plan, and how exactly the credits worked for us.
We venture through Pandora: The World of Avatar and ride some rides, enjoy the atmosphere of the park and catch some of the chilled nature vibes. Before long, the park closes (one of the disadvantages of visiting during the winter is shorter theme park operating time). We hop on a bus to Disney's Saratoga Springs to make our way to Disney Springs for a little Moo Moo Sharoo.
At Disney Springs, we pop into the Art of Disney store, where I purchase this month's Patreon competition prize. We visit Goofy's Candy Co. to pick up some popular Disney Dining Plan snack credits, for a snack review video now available to watch on Patreon from as little as £3 (+tax). We didn't have much luck in the stores this time, and then the heavens opened. We bus it back to Animal Kingdom Lodge and get off at Jambo house for dinner at The Mara.

Glad you explored the kids area at Kidani! I was curious because my niece and nephew may join us in the future. As for Quick Service, Jambo House is less than a 10 minute walk and the shuttle is also very easy. We used it a few times when we didn’t want to walk late at night in the cold. We were there right after you guys and pretty sure just across the hall from you. Wild!

Rainforest Cafe used to be much better, someplace we'd go for a date night. I think the Disney locations have been kept up better than most other locations. After it was bought out by Landry's, a lot of corners were cut, the food quality definitely suffered.
