We’re thrilled to drop our next “baby” as of today: Metal Soul, taken off of our forthcoming album “Global Rock”. Release date for “Global Rock” is March 20th, 2020.
Metal Soul is getting back to Waltari’s favourite subject: superiority of today’s technology! People blindly trust today’s internet driven world and only praise today’s technology. Man is just getting lazy, and that direction might be a big mistake to go in the long run! The lyrics advise people to not give their whole hand, heart and mind away for this modern way of living, which was still full of question marks.
The song itself is melting genres again. The track, taken off of the upcoming album “Global Rock”, is a word game between styles, metal music and soul music. Music-wise, the song in fact stands for these two styles and at the same time is a reminiscence to Waltari’s old funky times in the early ‘90s. A unique musical combination of old and new Waltari!

Best, most underrated Avant-garde Metal band I know. Currently my favorite band to listen to, keep on making new Avant-garde music! Lately, I cannot stop presenting this band to my family, everybody will have their opinions on the best eras of this band, but after hearing every Waltari song I could find my personal favorite releases currently are The Stage Ep, Radium Round, & Below Zero.
