Le meilleur alpiniste de tous les temps !!!! simplicité, agilité, amour de la montagne un passionné il a gravi les plus nombreux hauts sommets sans jamais se mettre en avant, bien au contraire humble et modeste il parlait avec son cœur et son âme , il était le meilleur Ami de Pierre Mazeaud (grand alpiniste français) des comme lui on n’ont fait plus une génération d’alpiniste hors du commun qui ne cherchait ni gloire ni fortune il cherchait en son fond intérieur la communion avec la montagne, avec le rocher’ il était à mon humble avis l’un des plus grand !!!!!!

Cette histoire me hante depuis 10 ans l'histoire de bonnati au drus et mais sont histoire en général je suis sortie de mes demons grâce à qont courage ! Legend

Un très très grand!!! Et dire que de nos jours les soloistes (j'en suis un, à mon humble niveau) sont regardés comme des illuminés ...Pourtant l'alpinisme et l'escalade solitaire sont des disciplines totales et permettent vraiment d'atteindre ses limites voir de les transcender . Merci Monsieur BONATTI et tant d'autres illustres grimpeurs .

Bonatti after the K2 episode - where Desio Lacedelli and Compagnoni killed him morally and almost physically - should have emigrated to France. In Italy there is only misery and humiliation.
