I found I was doing a rice Center diet with just vegetables. it was very difficult without sodium. Thankfully a Dr. McDougall he emailed me back and told me that 500 mg-1000mg of soy sauce or some type of sodium would be OK. And that small change made a world of difference for me. I play sports and I’m active eating and extremely low sodium diet did not benefit me. And he told me in the intensive care unit in the hospital a low sodium diet is 2000 mg.

Initially they only suggested for rice, vegetables and fruits, since they contain low protein and dr Kempner was trying to cure patients with chronic kidney disease and high blood pressure. 90% diet consisted of carbohydrates and only 5/5% consisting of protein and fats. Once the disease is completely rid we can add foods based on elimination diet. Like dr mcdougall. You can add beans and lentils after some time and see if it works for. Also need to start with little fish or chicken to see if the arthritis or gout comes back. Oils need to be completely removed. Rest is elimination part of the diet.

what year was the person who lost weight and diabetes was cured that you showed their health data about mid-video which included improvement of their Hemoglobin A1C? Dr Kempner practiced earlier on before Hemoglobin A1C was even discovered/invented/used (1968 discovered, used in 1975). So was the data you presented on another patient at a Rice house somewhere and not a patient of Dr Kempner's himself? All the other data you showed looked like Dr. Kempner's actual data. @bethany_russell5 ай бұрын
One of the oldest pieces of literature we have is the Bible, and in the very first chapter of the very first book it states to eat a garden diet. Even Dr. McDougall says the first scientific trial was in the book of Daniel when the men ate only pulses and appeared healthier than the men who ate meat. So it is religion that first brought us the knowledge of a healthy diet. Science is simply the observation of the natural world. Observing reality doesn’t mean you created it. Faith acknowledges the creator of said natural world. It is the knowledge that much of human suffering is spiritual, something we cannot see or observe as science so called. Food doesn’t solve all of our problems and evolution cannot explain why humans destroy oneself. I’ve survived some of the worst abuses which left me with a lifetime of PTSD. And even when I was doing all the right things with eating healthy, my autoimmune diseases progressed because of one thing - severe trauma. Stress is inflammatory. It is by the grace of God alone that I am here today and I cannot put that into words. Just as you can’t know what’s it’s like to lose a child unless you’ve lost a child, you can’t know what faith adds to your life if you don’t have it.
@alexkenjeev37254 ай бұрын
@@bethany_russell the Bible is absolutely an important literary text, and full of valuable lessons. I love the Bible! But let’s be honest here... This is the book in which the Israelities are commanded to slaughter lambs and then smear the blood on their houses. This same book that extols “burnt offerings” (animal sacrifices, which are eaten after the ritual!), and has extensive rules about how to kill, prepare, and eat meat. This book reminds us THREE times that we must not “boil a young goat in its mother’s milk” - an incredibly specific and narrow prohibition - and yet even this is taken away when St. Peter has a vision that all foods are now permissible! This book counts the provision of fish as a miracle. This book gives man “dominion” over animals. The Prodigal Son’s return is celebrated with a fattened calf, and Jesus is called the “lamb”, and commands that his flesh (or, at least, bread that stands in for, or perhaps in some way becomes, his flesh) be eaten! And to be clear - I do not eat meat and I am not saying anyone should!
