I live in a brick gothic mansion in the hills of Austin, Texas and my dad does this to me all the time. We’re from Mexico too so he yells at me in Spanish and it puts me into a fit of ire. Makes you wonder what the hell Gus was thinking of making Walter rush getting the product to him. I guess it was to teach him a lesson to not trust Jesse to help deliver the product, and to test how dedicated Walter is. However this was an incredibly risky move by Gus cause anything could’ve happened that would’ve exposed Walt to the D.E.A or his family because he was driving like a madman to reach the destination on time. Yes I know Gale is the one who insisted Gus to hire Walter, but doing something like this definitely was unnecessary just to see how dedicated the dude is to selling all that.
