I saw him at the Chesapeake Bay Blues festival 3 years ago not knowing anything about him and let me tell you he is a powerful soulful player and brings his craft in a powerful way,it was like opening a Christmas gift like a young kid with excitement,I want to see him again and he has a great message coming back from the edge of eternity ,it transformed his creativity.

Saw him play Copenhagen a couple of days ago. Such a genuine, down to earth guy. Spent a lot of time after the gig talking to fans, getting pictures taken and signing stuff. Also promoted organ donation. I went to see a blues legend and came home with my mind blown. Walter, you are an inspiration to the human race........

The first time I saw Walter, I was blown away. I bought ALL his CD's & even he got excited. The next time I saw them, I spilt wine on Sammy : ) while he signed my guitar. The next time I shared something personal w/ Walter & he W/ myself , we both have a similar friend who wrote a book that changed the world. I Saw this man yesterday at Worpswedes Music Hall, and it was a strong and healthy man on stage; he screamed and he sang and he played, and I can tell you: He sang and screamed the death out of the Hall, If he was there lurking in the corners in his black hood... I can tell you; he must have been scared from this man full of life and singin the blues in a way I never heard before. I`m taken I´m still shaking, that was a night to remember, thank you Walter.
