Incredible interview. I'm glad that I just came upon it. I hope that you will also interview the others of the Antwerp 6. I've been a big fan of the Antwerp 6 since the beginning and have been visiting Belgium since the mid-70s. I noticed the Antwerp 6 in the 80s. I have worn Anne, Dries, and Dirk Bikkembergs. I still have my Dirk B jacket from the 90s and also have started shopping Dries more again especially since now we have the flagship Dries boutique here in L.A. It's all about availability of fashion items. I prefer not having to shop such pieces online. I used to shop them in Europe, but although I was last there in 2019, unfortunately I didn't shop the Antwerp 6. Next time, I'll put my focus back on them. Greetings from Los Angeles

Wow! Walter seems incredibly down to earth. His energy/aura is one of a kind. He just seems like a great design role model. I’ve always had respect for him but this has honestly made me love him! I’m in awe!! Also, the sound honestly isn’t that bad - just a slight echo. It’s more so when you speak as you project your voice whereas, Walter hardly has an echo. It's so disheartening to hear the passion and genuine energy / hard work walter puts into his collections -- dying and weaving fabrics etc. -- and see someone like Virgil Abloh rip him off and continue to receive praise and accolades for consistent plagiarized mediocrity. Especially when he tries to communicate how "no one owns ideas" through his collections but tries to trademark quotations and sue on behalf of Off-White. Would love for him and his fans to look into some Lockean labor theory of property.

I agree that copying without permission is weak. It’s especially weak when big fashion houses do it. It’s not fair to the amateur designer. You can collaborate, buy the rights or license, or you can offer the designer a job, but just flat out copying is weak.
