I am one of 4 children, 2 raised as catholics and 2 as anglicans because my catholic grandmother refused to acknowledge us until we 2 eldest were baptized. By the time the other 2 came along she had died. I always questioned things in the church, even at 5 years old I was getting into trouble with the priests. Until I heard this today I never really understood why it didn't sit well with me. Thank you Jesus for saving me and protecting me from the catholic system and thank you Walter for being the instrument of God to explain to me why I didn't fit in.

Lol let me say , when you fall in love with every 1, then, your loving Christ, as he said, to love 1 another, even as I loved you. But he that loveth not, owe he really don't know him. But this is love, that you keep my commandments, now think about what love is. Then you can think why Christ loved you to suffer for you, because he kept his fathers commandments, emadgine , Yeshua/ Jesus is sitting there, waiting to show his love to the father, waiting to do anything he wanted. My wife loves me, this I know, because at 2 am. I can ask her to make me a grilled cheese, she is loving me, to do it, not because I asked her, or told her. It's not love to say, your crazy make your own grilled cheese ! Ahhh, but hisbands love your wives even as Christ loved the church. That's alot of love. But as christ said, ye are my friends if you do what soever I say. I'm just trying to point out, this is what love is,, to keep his commandments, his words, and do them. Idk if I said this right, but if we want to be with Christ, and not be with that poor bum, hmm, As much as ye did it to one of the least of these, you did it to me. Unfortunately some of the doctrines held be the SDA (a branch of the orginal JWs) are not Biblical, but like a dog who won't let go of their toy, SDAs hold firmly to Saturday worship as if that will save them. Jesus said if we break just one commandment, we are then guilty of breaking them all. So the question SDAs will never publicly answer is; How many commandments did you intentionally or unintentionally break during the week between your Saturday gatherings?

There’s a disconnect that I genuinely don’t get. How being an Adventist comes into play while such insightful bible teacher stands strong for Christ. “ Seventh-day Adventist” according to the speaker “ started in the New York area.” There was no NY when Christ taught the gospels. I also stopped referring to myself as a Protestant. I am in no more protest with the Catholic religion than I am any other false doctrine. There is the pure gospel and the false gospel. No denomination necessary.

I was not going to join any church for all of three some Dr Veith had spoken of in this lecture and another I listened to earlier on this day (12/25/21 according to Rome's calendar)and YHWH showed me that this is the road for me...ive been a follower of the Bible since 2010(not long compared to many) having previously been a catholic/scientologist(not long-thank you Jesus!)and an atheist/satanist but not in name nor in direct "worship" but by my deeds now I see the light and it becomes a leap of faith in Jesus Himself-tgat I will belong to His bribe-i pray it is correct May YHWH bless all my Christian brothers and sisters now matter what you think about the group-stay strong in the blood of YESHUA/JESUS He will be coming soon!

Paul was talking about ordinances and feast days. Ceremonial sabbaths which came a few times a year, not God’s law. Let’s read scripture in context. We are not under the law for saving grace, we are also not to force people to keep man made ordinances and laws pertaining to religion, but God’s law still stands. In the new covenant it is written on our hearts (faith), but it’s still written. Because sin is transgression of the law. In the end times he will throw down and defeat the LAWLESS one. If his law doesn’t stand, his 10 commandments, how can the one he defeats be lawless? Sabbath still is holy and still is sabbath. It just cannot and does not save. You going to church on Sunday won’t damn you, but would you rather worship on a pagan day set up by a Caesar, which was never made holy by God (no where is Sunday made the new day of worship, that’s an assumption based on disciples meeting a few times on the lord’s day), or on the day God sanctified and made Holy at the time of creation? I choose the sabbath, not pagan Sunday. Jesus is the same today, yesterday, and tomorrow. His law is still law, but from the time of it being written on stone it NEVER saved, only the shedding of blood even in the sacrificial ceremony that spoke of the coming messiah, was able to do that. Or be a sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins. Let’s read God’s word in context. It does not contradict itself, and sabbath still is Saturday. God bless you!

How does SDA balance the verse in Hebrews, which tells its there is a Sabbath rest, that we are to “boldly” enter into? Is this one day per week, that we honor what God accomplished on the cross? It seems to me, through study of scripture and through conviction, that the rest of the Sabbath should be ours continually. One day, set aside from work, is not sufficient for me. My self is always seeking to produce works. To adopt Paul’s word that we need to reckon ourselves dead and living in Christ means seven days a week. He also tells us quite clearly in Romans Ch 7 that his flesh is continually striving to dominate him, and does, and then the beginning of Ch 8: there is no condensation to those who are in Christ. What does this mean? Is he not already, positionally, already “saved from sin”? Why would he not be at peace already? That first verse must be speaking to the absolute delivery from sin and the work of the flesh that one experiences when one turns inwardly, through faith, to the One who opened the way into the Holy of Holies, where the sabbath rest is available at all times. There is so much division within God’s Church, and it is always over a single point of doctrine. Is one baptized by sprinkling, or by Immersion? Is the sabbath kept on Sunday, or Saturday? I want none of that. I need God to be my shelter every moment, or else I fall into the effort of flesh. There is no other option. One is either at rest in Christ in Spirit with the One who has made Himself one spirit with our spirit, or one is at work within Adam.

Lest you now cry, "legalism" salvation is indeed thru Jesus but I couldn't see one being a continual liar, thief, murderer etc and habitually breaking all of the "9" Commandments and their living will be acceptable unto God. So if one must keep the nine, who will excuse us from all ten?
