We have a little army of 5 to 10 cats in our backyard and this politely meowing army of cats demand treats from us whenever they see us. And if we cook something outside in the garden, they never leave without taking their cuts...

Those kebabs take me back , my late beloved hubbie and I had many , many barbecues in our time , our all time favourites were chunks of chicken breast fillets , rolled in streaky bacon and threaded onto stainless flat skewers with chunks of pineapple , red bell pepper and red onion and mushrooms , all basted with my own homemade barbecue sauce , they were delish , my cats used to sit patiently beside us waiting for them to cook , you can do the same with pork fillet ( tenderloin ) and pork liver , equally delicious , thank you Walter Santi's Dad for evoking such happy memories , never to be again 😢❤😢❤😢

Cat food and cat treats are becoming expensive. I hated cats for years. I have saved 3 feral cats and feed some outside cats . Over 50 a month with treats. But I gave up buying what I don't need in order to do it . We won't even talk about the cost to treat the indoor cats for fleas . Or the pills for the outdoor feral cat with worms. But they all make me laugh throughout the day.😂

These were the backyard cats, who treat the place like a B&B - eat, sleep, hang out in the sun, go somewhere for a few days…. so they are a more changeable group than the front yard cats, of whom D’art is one. We only saw a few of them. Last I saw, D’Art’s doing fine, although he’s getting older. Even The Big Head is still healthy, despite his years on the street and age❤
