The little vacuum cleaner took the plate before it was a leftover. He looks very well fed not like starving during hibernation. He got a bath before leaving and you got a giggle.

Kitties: "Looks like the strange spikey cats are back." Seriously though, hedgehogs devour a lot of garden pests (e.g., beetles, slugs, caterpillars, earwigs and millipedes), helping to keep the garden a lush paradise for the cats. Additional "bribes" to lure natural pest control to your yard are well worth it.

I learned something new, I didn't know hedgehogs hibernated. The cats look great. Though they don't hate the hedgehogs they don't seem pleased with them stealing their food. The flowers in your yard are beautiful.

Hedgehogs in England are getting very rare because their habitat is getting destroyed for housing etc. and they get run over by veichles in the countryside. Thankyou for looking after them 😊👍.

since they are eating the cat food, I would think the cats would think they are the enemy and Walter wouldn't care since they are not eating his food. Plenty of food for everyone so that is why the cats might not mind them.

Here in the U.S. state of Missouri, we have raccoons, opposums and birds that clean up what our cats don't finish. Once I looked out the kitchen door where I had a pan of cat food. There was a tom cat, a 'possum and a raccoon all eating out of the same dish. Then the raccoon looked at the 'possum and took his paw and bopped the 'possum on the head as if to say "me first - then you can eat." The tom cat just sat there watching the antics. I wish I had a camera to catch that scene as I'll probably never see anything like it again. Once when my daughter was visiting from out of state, she walked out on the front porch to see a 'possum eating from the cat dish. She was amazed that the 'possum wasn't afraid of her and took a picture. I then said "Now you can take of picture of the raccoon that coming up behind you!" She couldn't believe it. Unfortunately, many of our 'possums and raccoons get killed at night on the roads here. Our dogs "don't like them" either. I'll bet you have nice "chubby" hedghogs. So cute! Love this video.

I love Hedgehogs. We had plenty of wild ones where I grew up in Germany. I don't see them here in the US, at least not where I live. I love that the cats just get startled and then are like, ok dude, you van have it! 😂❤

Here in US we have porcupines. No hedgehogs. Porcupines are MUCH bigger & their spines are a very "barbarous" coat of armor. Ask any dog that foolishly chases one down. Native Americans make jewelry out of the spines, after nipping off the barbs.
