My friends .... the PDP 4 inches is amazing.. I have one in my collection, unbelievable shooting gun, smooth , easy to carry regardless of size. I’ am having so much fun in the range, putting a show out there with the impressive accuracy and never ever had any problems with gun not working properly. Try one before judging without the experience. Buy one , won’t regret it...

I am a huge fan of the Walther PDP. First, I bought the PDP full size 5" 18+1. It was (is) so incredibly amazing that next I got me the PDP compact 4" (15+1) LE Edition. They two quickly became my top favorite handguns. About a month ago, I bought the PDP Pro SD, which, amazingly enough, turned out to be a notch above the original PDP. I love the PDP platform. I hope Walther make it in 45 ACP too. Anyway, nothing but praises about the PDP, no issues or complains.

wow what a great little channel you got here, love the chemistry with your wife, Id really like to see you an your wife have a shootout with Honest Outlaw an his wife haha. Far as this video goes I have recently sold my CZ A01 LD, a great gun no doubt but a bit big in my hand and I absolutely cannot stand CZ Custom, about as sleazy a company as you will find. So with that money I bought a Walther PDP and have to say I dont miss a thing about the CZ. Sure the CZ is heavy an recoil is more manageable but only slightly. Again this Walther PDP 5" full size I bought stands up to and surpasses the CZ A01 LD in about every category.

Looks like a great shooter! Glad to see Walther get out of the 15 rd rut, but I wonder if they strived so hard to get the "18" that the resulting stack is tight enough to put a lot of drag on the bottom of the slide. If so, it's not a big deal, as running this gun as a straight 18 shooter would still be simpler than topping off a "17 +1". And a standard reload would bring it back to a full 18. Wanting a dot gun, I've been holding out for another shipment of APX Targets (as I like my APX's), with a Masada being my contingency option. This gun may upset that list a bit.

I would love to see a comparrison to this and the Canik TP9 SFx. I know they’re different, but many people get the sfx because of it’s size and the PDP is closer to this than many others, sort of an inbetween compact and large. It would be good to compare the grips and how they look and feel and that could give us an idea of the full size handle, compared to the PDP compact and the larger Canik, since they seem really close.
@GBGuns3 жыл бұрын
If anything I would say the full size PDP and SFx are closer. Interesting points though especially considering the Canik is an unlicensed copy of the PPQ line.
@livnbiggr34823 жыл бұрын
@@GBGuns I see. I have an SFx but was considering the 4.5 PDP as something between that and a compact (4” barrel). From your testing, observations and usage, do you think it would fit that niche as a duty gun that’s a little bigger than a compact and a competition size gun?

Canik mags also work FYI
@ricks26513 жыл бұрын
Graham, what are your top 3 9mm home defense rounds?
@GBGuns3 жыл бұрын
The rounds you shoot best with that work well in your gun and your situation. Be they frangibles or hollow points I don't there's enough difference from one load to the next. A thug hit with one brand or another likely won't know the difference, especially if it's multiple hits. I just want to minimize the chance of pass through.
@Etherman73 жыл бұрын
I bought some of those subsonic rounds to shoot out of a glock 17 with a suppressor (got the hybrid 46 and I've had fun putting that thing on everything.) The rounds were definitely subsonic, but they sprayed unburnt powder back at me and into the action. Would not recommend for suppressed pistols.
@GBGuns3 жыл бұрын
The extra back pressure will do that with just about any load unless it's a super-clean-burning load. Try the Stealth line from Ammo, Inc.

The CZP10 C or at least "mine' has issue's with magazine release when you max out the magazines. I was starting to break it in until all this bat flu shit happened so never got it worked out. Luckily never had a feeding problem with it but I imagine that is the only reason you had an issue when you loaded it up completely with plus one round making it a 19 shot. I suspect if you steadily shoot and load eighteen rounds you will never have a problem then when it breaks in you can go to a full 19.
@andrewm62823 жыл бұрын
I also had that issue only with the full mag + 1. Not sure why but I wonder if it is because of friction on the full mag? Any suggestions to reasons would be helpful.

Curious if the felt recoil is lessened with the 4.5” when compared to the 4” (or even the 3.5” F-Series)?
