I think the Pro Compact SD is best of the bunch and I have seen them for under 700. It has the trigger, mags and threaded barrel.

Have the Q4 and love it. Was able to get a barely used PDP Steel 4.5 w a Holosun SCS and a dozen mags for only 1200. Put 2k through it w zero issues. As of yesterday, Buds Gun Shop had the 4.5 for 1120. I had an extra Holosun 507 Comp sitting around waiting for a gun to be put on….you can guess what happened. Great guns. Also just got an MBX mag to try out on them

Picked up a SF match and pro E compact. Find myself wanting another steel frame asap. The SFs are pricey but they’re honestly a work of art. Kinda nutty to say that about a striker fired pistol

Any plans to review the CZ shadow 2 compact? I would be very interested to see what you think about that gun. I just recently picked one up. And I think it might be one of the best EDC guns that can flex into carry optics or some other competition shooting where the max weight is under 40oz.

I think it’s a great gun. At this point this year, I don’t know we will get to it, but I think it’s a great feeling gun. I dont think you could go wrong with it.

Not sure at the moment, no plans to do that, but it’s always a possibility! We did the F series at the end of the year last year. We shall see if we do the update.

Do you think you can do a drop torture test for the MC9LS? A couple days ago, someone accidentally dropped one in their holster and it shot a round through his ceiling. It's definitely concerning, and I'm wondering if it only affects the MC9 family or if it affects all Canik SKUs.

Well it has a partially cocked striker. I think Canik even warns about drops with a loaded pistol within their manual. We won’t be doing a drop torture test with the gun, for a few reasons but those are some.

Im completly disagree its personal preference with the pdt trigger vs the reguler pdp trigger. I have been shooting the pdt and regular triggers since the pdp came out i find the regular trigger gets better more i shoot it. I realize i dont need to upgrade to the pdt on regular pdp

I've been tempted to get some flavor of PDP for a while... but none of the nearby shops carry them. Maybe I need to travel a bit just to check one out. As an aside, I'm glad to hear you still mention the 2311 (it's my favorite in my lineup)... but I do have a question: Are you still running the stock grip module on it or have you had it stippled or added grip tape?

That is very tough.. I always refer back to purpose. For a duty gun, or edc, I would take the XR920P but as a match pistol I would pick the PDP SF

If anyone has experience with the PDP SF and the DWX please chime in. I know one is a striker fired and the other is single action but due to the prices being close, would like to know which one you would choose. I do love the CZ ergos

I have the DWX, Shadow 2, PDP Match Poly and Q5 SF. My DWX is my favorite of the four for target shooting and feel. But……I shoot the PDP more and I personally am more of a striker fired guy in EDC, duty and at the range. I shot my friends PDP SF for over a month now and I just love it!!! If I could only have one of the five mentioned, it would be the PDP SF hands down.

Pdp over DWX all day DWX is a solid pistol but Pdp has the better trigger and ergos imo And I wanna say the DWX is more pricey

I own all 4 models , pdp sf match full size and the compact along with the dwx full size and compact . You can’t go wrong with either make of guns but I would honestly lean more towards my Walthers
