This is my first visit to Walton Colliery Nature Park in Wakefield. Popular with dog walkers, cyclists, horse riders and families, this nature reserve stands on the site formerly known as Sharlston West Colliery. Access to the free car park is via Shay Lane. Loved that Video I lived at 1 Chevet Terrace in 2001 before moving to Australia and used to walk around the site every night. Its fantastic to see how the plantings have matured will definitely pay visit when next over
