A great improv and I respect your courage for leaping beyond the original BEs performances. Many brilliant artists are afraid to get away from the original composition. Maybe out of fear or perhaps respect. Who can blame them !! Great job on a great standard.

I will swear in this comment, sorry. I've heard like 50 renditions / versions of this song (for a bassoon, ukulele and a typing machine too). But the stiffness, complexity, joy... this is just fcking overwhelming pure awesomeness, it's like Keith Jarret trio changed into Bill Evans trio. I've barely enjoyed any performance like this. Fcking awesome. Thanks for sharing.

Cool arrangement! Since Waltz for Debby is a waltz that usually forgets how to waltz after the first play trough, you might as wel put in in 5. As you tastefully did. Really dig it!

Songs like "What a Wonderful World", "Waters of March" and "Waltz for Debbie" don't need to be changed in a single detail. This is really far from the spirit of Evans' creation, it's just a musical joke, for their own amusement.
