@@mariabautista2797 violin 1 is definitely harder, as usual. Usually violinists who've had more practice play the most difficult parts which is most often the melody in an all strings orchestra. This comment is less about difficulty and more about how pieces that are written for groups are never as good when only one musician is playing. Even the leading parts sound empty without the depth each layer provides

I love this song! We’re playing it in chamber orchestra, and it’s one of my favorite orchestra songs. I usually come up with stories for the orchestra songs, this one reminds me of two people in 1860s evening gowns doing some sort of magical fight thing and it’s very dramatic and hard to explain.
