Natural Magic is the first full expansion for Waltz of the Wizard, adding new locations and new form of magic for users to control. I had no clue how natural magic worked and I had thought that I needed my actual hands to use it- I was so bummed, but before my headset died I updated the game- I went to this video and I’m so glad I did! Before though I already went through 10 levels just evading the golems. I didn’t use any grenades, died a bit, but having magic it really gonna help! Tomorrow I will try all those levels again and practice the spell it provides before I open the door.

Great Tip for high rounds in case anyone's stuck: with the big silver Chad Automatons the best thing to do is pummel them in the torso with your fists and occasionally the face, that way they can't hit you (At least not often, if the try to just move quickly). The silver flying bots are even worse, just grab them with magic and bash them against a wall constantly until they start smoking, preferably at a distance so they can't lock on and murder you instantly. So I don't spoil things I won't mention the other enemies, however I will say level 40 makes you feel like a child trying to break a rock with a thin stick. It feels impossible.

I was just playing this last night. Got to level 13 in the Fortress. Also went to bed after 1 am as a result. Hmm. Probably not good to do that, lol. But yeah, as others have said, you can use the sonic scream to take out the stone robot guys. Kinda makes you feel like a Fremen using the sonic weapon from Dune (the older one, not the recent remake). Or just Banshee from X-Men ...

Just bought it and played through several dungeons, it definitely has a creepy vibe to it and can feel scary when those rocky monsters catch you off guard. I think I do find the flying ones a bit scarier. You know what really helps though? Use the swords that come out of your fistst so you are not defenseless from close-up.

Anyone know if you can do other spells other than casting the regular magic to grab hold of things? Was hoping there would be multiple types of enemies and multiple types of spells to use but looks like one each

There are multiple enemies. I have gotten past level 7, and at level 5 you get these heavy hitting, small, projectile launching, flying machines, and they come in large swarms at a time. Not as much health as the melee robots, but harder to hit. I know there will likely be more enemies later, but I have yet to discover any.

@@Wren_Coffelt yeah I got to 9 and I've only seen the two enemies so far. Im just disappointed as how how repetitive it feels. Was hoping for more than just the one spell, or maybe having some oowerups to pick up to make the spell different. But so far its the same thing every time. Overall though they've built a great foundation. Tons of potential for more additions. Id love a straight survival type mode with multiple natural spells to use. Right now it's kind of just 40 of the same level with the same spell, but ill know for sure once i get through the fortress

I think this is a global level beta test, and that they are gonna rely on player input and reviews to expand on this concept they have created. They even said when I tried to go in with hand tracking that they were working on a hand tracking version, so surely they have more planned. For instance, there were two things I saw in the preview for the update. What looked like an undead creature, maybe a litch judging by the clothes, and also powerful magic. Magic that when Summoned, radiated from the very walls. I think that's what they have planned.
