Just tell the ring to heal you. Any command it can parse, it can complete. E.g., "Create one hundred grenades," or "Make all music items explode."

There is nothing wrong with the automatic subtitles. It is better to keep Aldin's Reality Ring with you at all times. Just don't give it commands. It won't react to most idle chatter or exclamation.
