Waluigi is a recurring character found in the Mario series who was made to rival Luigi. Waluigi mainly appeared in spin-off games such as Mario Tennis and Mario Party 3. Waluigi is known to be Wario's partner ever since Waluigi made his first appearance in Mario Tennis for the Nintendo 64 and was voiced by Charles Martinet ever since. Waluigi also appeared along with Wario and Luigi in Super Mario Advance games as a palette swap of Mario. He has also appeared in every Mario Party game since Mario Party 3 came out in 2001. The details of Waluigi's past are unclear since he has no confirmed background, although he was evidently been antagonizing the Mario Bros., especially Luigi, for quite some time before his debut as seen in the opening of Mario Tennis, where he and Luigi confront each other.

This video really inspired me as to what a Waluigi character build could look like. A weight class similar to Ike, very agile movement like Fox, and a tall but thin hitbox. His A-Smash moves uses his racket, but while it has great knockback, doesn't actually do that much damage. In fact, similar to Lucario, none of his moves do a lot of damage initially, but the more damage he takes, the stronger he gets. This is further amplified by the condition of his shield. The closer it is to breaking will cause his damage output to go even higher. To add to the gimmick, whenever he defeats an opponent, he gets a limited time use of their B-Specials (similar to Kirby). His Final Smash would be to pull out several special Bob-ombs, that cluster around him, and detonate after a second. They all explode right after one another, so you can't spam dodging to get close, and two hits will break your shield. Waluigi isn't immune to the damage, but he is immune to the knockback, and will have 300% damage added (maxing his offensive output) while also temporarily be faster and unflinching.
