Mama shiko, if you ever go back to this video just know that you did your best.. Let no one fool you that you should have done any better.. The wisdom you had while raising your children is what you could have done... Dont be fooled by people who have not raised their children upto adulthood think they would be better if they were in your shoes.. We praise ourselves of how we should to do this and that. Let us raise those children to adulthood and grow older then we can speak how well we were in raising children.. I call that pride and how better you think you could be if shiko was your child.lets analyze the western with the kind of love they are given and spoilt does it mean those adults are now better.. Or your children wakes up in the morning and decide to become a boy while she is gal or decide to be homesexuals.. Its not how better we can raise our children its how will become humble that we need God, each and everystep of the way.. Be sure mama shiko that i prefer your styles of bringing up your children as a prayerful mom. The battle would not have been won if you were ungodly woman... You did great..Life will not offer everything but what you lacked give yourself and be greatful what you get and got..mama shiko a prayerful mother has moved mountains.. Keep the fire burning by being a prayerful mom. Lastly at some point i was also in shiko shoes where i blamed my mum but now oh lord i repent for i understand that i was only playing a victim. I turned out to be this and that but to avoid facing reality i began pointing fingers we are called ungreatful people. We had parents others didnt other stayed in the street but we got the audacity to think our parents did not do enough as if we live in a perfect world yet we are adults.. Playing victim.. For parents just know how you will raise your child you will be judged. You will face your creator and if contributed your young ones to sin owe unto you its better to be hanged and thrown to the river for the young ones are sinning and they dont know yet you know what is right and wrong.. May God have mercy on all of us

Parenting is very hard! Bless this mother! But focus on your daughter and how she feels, stop saying her feeling of being excluded/not favored was not true. Her reality is her reality! Your reality is different, how you raised her is not how she received it. Please validate her, it is the first step to healing. please also stop putting it on rings, bandanas, necklaces. Deal with your daughter's unhappy emotional wellbeing not superficial things like rings, bandanas, necklaces etc.

Annah, You are very right and I'm speaking from experience. Parents sometimes think they are doing the best but the children's perception is totally different. My mother did all she could to ensure we got an education, but she was never there. She was in Nairobi, we were in the village.From our perspective as children, we were abandoned, rejected and neglected. ( at that age all that mattered to us as children was love, care, provision and protection- not school fees). We may never have lacked the fees, but growing up without her left some serious damage on us. My brother is an alcoholic, and I've also struggled a lot with trauma and abadonment issues. Let parents not do things for their children, instead ask them what they feel(engage them)....You may be surprised, they just want to feel loved and stay close to you, not those expensive academies we take them and they feel abandoned.

I disagree but not in a bad way.. Some of us almost admired to have relationship with female yet my parent was best.. Be sure enough especially when you know right or wrong you will not have an excuse of i was not loved i was not favoured am almost having a breakdown hence let me do something abominable.. How many of us have children as per now the kind of love we show our kids is pushing them to do wordly things where they go nothing to do with God. The child will grow ooh i love my mum back to the moon we did this and that but be sure it will not end well with us.. For we are told if you can make our children to sin then its better we were not born that how serious our creator takes the matter. Ofcourse spiritual things this woman is talking sounds like unreasonable or not real but i can tell you that this woman has no blood in her hands.. I was one of them who played victim because i did not receive this and this yet of age to make sober desicions.. May God give us wisdom on how to be good custodians of our children. God bless
