I see so much of me in you Mhesh. You've made me cry rivers. I remember a church elder mama who used to say "ukiona skirt ya red kwa barabara jua tu ni fulani ama one of her two girls" bcz we had just two pairs of "Sunday best" clothes each.😢😢. The first day I read about her was in 2006. I was in form 3 by then. Our kiswahili teacher brought us a newspaper which had her story in it and she was talking about how she likes ďriving lazily. While the teacher was reading the story I was only thinking about how I would one day want to drive lazily like Gathoni cz ofcourse you cannot drive a cheap/worn out car lazily .😂 To cut the long story short, she remains to be one of many women I look upto because she made me work hard,through her story ,so as to one day be able to drive lazily in my beautiful big car. ❤
