This show, especially living in this time of such sorrow, has been very impactful for many and even cathartic. I have been deeply moved by this series and how Marvel uses the lens of this comic book world of superheroes and special powers to effectively portray very human emotions like intense sorrow and consuming grief. Impermanence is what defines our existence but the love that remains can never be lost!!

i don't really feel like agatha was a villain. if she was, she was in a distant third place behind main villain wanda and secondary villain hayward. i mean, let's compare here: wanda: tortures thousands of people hayward: prioritizes power over people and tries to murder children agatha: kills a dog, and is primarily responsible for rescuing the town from the hex, cutting the residents' strings and reminding wanda that heroes don't torture people

Vision is more than a set of memories. Much more. The original Vision was created from Wanda's magic, the mind stone, Thor's hammer, as well Jarvis, Ultron, Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner. This new Vision is lacking much of that, and includes programming intended to make him an obedient weapon. He has Vision's memories, but none of those from Westfield. This is a new entity, a new person.

I had a thought that kinda pertains to your comment. Why didn't Agatha help Wanda when white Vision showed up? White Vision was about to kill Wanda and that would've ruined Agatha's entire plan since she needed Wanda. I guess maybe she could still steal power from a dead body?

marvel studios cast evan peters as fietro in order to put the audience in wanda's shoes, wanting so badly for it to be pietro. but reality is a harsh place. pietro is and will remain dead.

White Vision (Like in the comics) hasn't got any of the emotions and personality he got from the mind stone, so even with all the memories unlocked, he still doesn't have the emotional attachment and that's kind of why he just left. Basically needs to learn to be a person again for the most part, I think. Also cool little thing, when she's reading the Darkhold and astral projecting at the end, it plays Doctor Strange's theme.

Last scene: Mountains of Scotland... How do I know, Elizabeth Olson is filming for Dr Strange 2 in the UK. Plus it reminds her of Vision, Scotland was their escape place.

I've heard people say its the mountains of Sokovia but my first theory was Scotland too for the exact same reason that you said. The cabin she's in looks a bit Eastern European tho but that could just be her aesthetic regardless of where she goes lmao.

Just an interesting take on Pietro. There is a huge ball that got dropped in WandaVision that could mean that Ralph is Pietro. If you remember all the way back to episode 4, the whole reason either Jimmy or Monica even knew about Westview was because Jimmy had a person under FBI protection go missing. What happened to that person? We never hear about them again. Also, think about what is common for people under FBI protection. New fake identities. Add to that a few other things. Monica was called in because her company, SWORD, has top of the line technology, probably AI driven drone technology. Ever think about why the drone Monica ended up so close to Wanda'a house? It's possible Agatha put it there to mess with Wanda, but it could also be that Wanda's house is right next to Ralph's, which Agatha took over when she came to town. What if Ralph is the person Jimmy had under protection and Monica entered the coordinates to his house into the drone, and even though it was converted when going through the barrier, it was still able to fly over to Ralph's house? Also, take into account the name too. Quicksilver was always a mouthy guy, pissing people off all the time. Wouldn't that have been the perfect name for a pissed off FBI agent to assign to him when placing him under protection? Add to that, Ralph is supposed to be a single guy living in that suburban neighborhood? Odd place for a single guy of his age to live. Plus, Jimmy said that everybody the guy knew had no clue who he was. Now, we all assumed it was part of the magic, whether it was Wanda's or Agatha's that blocked or erased their memories. Monica kind of debunked that though. If the magic had that far of an effect, why did Jimmy remember the guy? Also, why was Jimmy able to know about the town, when the local cops couldn't? Maybe, because magic had nothing to do with it. If Ralph is actually Pietro from another multiverse, then it's probable that the people he knew in his multiverse exist in this one, but since he didn't exist here, they don't know him. That could explain why no magic was involved. It could also show, that Wanda's control over outsiders, like the cops, had limits. Thus Jimmy and Monica weren't affected. Further in that line, it kind of makes more sense. If he is just Ralph, that means that Agatha was able to give him the power of super speed. If though, he managed to be Quicksilver from another multiverse, all that would have been necessary was to control him. Is he really Pietro from another multiverse? I don't know. Still, they left a pretty big door open to let Ralph be him. I mean, the protected person was the whole reason Sword or the FBI was even at the town. It seems like an awful big plot thread to just leave dangling.

Did Hex Vision give him just memories or an actual part of the mind stone? His forehead glowed yellow so I wasn't sure what to make of that.

I’m gonna get a ton of hate for saying this, but I wanted to give my opinion on this finale, so here goes. I’m glad people love this finale. Not many shows have a finale that satisfy most of the fans. However, this finale did absolutely nothing for me personally. First off, the show pretty much walks back on its message about grief and acceptance by having the White Vision around and including a post credits scene where Wanda tries to bring back her kids. You can’t try to present this powerful message about grief and still want me to believe it if you’re gonna immediately contradict it. Second, Wanda faces no consequences for her actions. She knowingly brainwashed and kidnapped an entire town of people and the show throws in this meaningless statement that “they’ll never know what she sacrificed for them.” She sacrificed her happiness, sure. However, Vision and the kids were not real and nothing is stopping her from doing it again if she wanted. She really didn’t do anything for the town besides let them go from the trauma that she caused for them. Lastly, as a massive fan of the X-Men movies I absolutely hated the twist with Evan Peters. A lot of people agree that his Quicksilver was far better than the one we had in the MCU. Regardless of the X-Men franchise’s faults, the original movie paved the way for the MCU to get started and arguably wouldn’t exist without it. These films are the literal reason I am into superhero movies. I already wasn’t happy when it was announced that Disney would be canceling them and rebooting the entire universe but now I am absolutely dreading it if this is how they are going to treat the franchise that pretty much allowed them to get started. As someone who loves the X-Men film series and Evan Peters as Quicksilver, I have to be honest by saying the Ralph Boner joke was unfunny, underwhelming and quite frankly insulting. Once again, if you love this show I totally understand and won’t argue. For me however, this show has started to make me lose my admiration for the MCU. Really wasn’t a fan unfortunately.

Yes within the context of the "sitcom" but in the real world he's just some guy who lives in Westview. When Monica sees his electricity bill with his name on it the billing goes back months, so we know he's an actual resident of Westview.

Here comes an unpopular opinion: With all due respect to what Wanda made through thus far, isn't is interesting how the show's end mirrors Monica's pro-superhero bias and somehow vindicates Hayward with Wanda f'ing up normal peoples' lives for a while (and possibly some time to come) without punishment or any sort of accountability? Instead she's left to run, learning from possibly the worst source of information she could lay hands on, pretty much setting her up to blunder again?

I definitely see your point here, but seeing as this is just one part of a sprawling story I was under the impression that her consequences would be coming. I don't think humanity, and to an extent other heroes, would just sweep this whole thing under the rug. I felt part of the ending was showing us that she had accepted her role as the Scarlet Witch, whatever good or bad consequences come from that.

I agree. I hated Wanda just flying off at the end. She should've at least stayed, got arrested and faced the consequences. Be an adult, be a hero. Maybe they'll touch on this in the future?

That's what I'm thinking, there's no way the other Avengers just let this slide. I'd imagine body snatching other people is a huge violation of the Sokovia accords.

The series basically was just to promote the upcoming movies, you’ll have the secret invasion with fury and Jimmy and Rambo, multi-verse, Doctor Strange Wanda Agatha and the kids, plus the big bad guy
