Hi. Why my camera not recording any videos? It just send me alert message but when i look at it, its only appear as photo. Fyi, i already put memory card inside the camera.

Thanks. Glad we have choices. I have never heard of this brand. Questions: 1. Is there a hub/station available & does it make sense to have? 2. Is the App iPad compatible? Meaning - can I use in Landscape view/mode. 3. Can i view clips when on vacation? 4. And are those clips with a preview shot or a generic jpg image and thus have to open the clip to see what was recorded? Or is that only in their cloud service? 5. Finally if I have multiple cameras how much is the yearly service?

1. Does not have a hub for this camera it is a stand alone camera. 2. I do not have an iPad so I am not able to test this. 3. Yes you can view when on vacation. 4. Clip perviews are of the actual event not a generic image. 5. A subscription is not needed for this camera for what I demoed.

Thanks for the review, that was amazing! -Can it record continuously on battery mode, for at least 10 hours? (High performance mode) -Will it record while it's offline? -can it be used without network (after configuration is done)? If you could inform us with precise information, thanks!

It can not record continuously. Battery powered cameras will only record movement clips. It can record while off line., like wise could be used off network but would need to be brought back to the network to view the recordings in the app.

Will it work without wifi? On access point mode to connect Directly with app..?

It would but you would need to be close to it to view anything from the camera.

Will the video keep recording for an hour or more in one frame if a person or few is in the room chatting or will it get cut short in a few video frame? I'm excited since this can be put anywhere for me to record my baby growth but its a hassle to check if it only record a minute/frame for an hour longer video (pardon poor english)

This is meant for clips of things that are triggered by movement. It is not made to record 1+ long recordings.

@@Wanderer001_Reviewswould a piece of black electrical tape over the lights work? Just checking bc I tried that with a geenie indoor cam and it was a fail for night vision the only led on the cam doubled as an indicator light and the ir for the night vision. I could turn off the indicator led part of it but night vision the ir led shined bright negating the "hidden cam" part of the security camera.

@@archer4922 This camera would not fair well if you tape the IR lights to keep it hidden. Unless you have a differnt sourse of light or IR at night the picture quality would not be great.

Would motion detection work through window glass? (I want to detect and record outside car windshield when parked, some motion detection tech may not work through glass if using infrared but might work if it uses shape detection algorithms)

This camera uses a PIR sensor to detection movement. It will not work through glass.

Is the motion triggers including animals? Coz a cat give shit on my front door and this cctv doesnt seem to be helping. Any suggestion? Thank you

It can only do human shaped targets. If you are looking for something that can to pet detection for free I would check out Tapo, they have lots of good optoins for that.

If you want 24/7 continuous recording you are going to need a plug in power camera. Battery powered cameras will not do this.

@@Wanderer001_Reviews Hi, great review! And will the camera record continuously if plugged into a power bank? Obviously, provided I had chosen the "Power plugged-in" option in Working mode menu. And regarding the video clip timeline, will it show thumbnails of each motion detection if I record to the microSD card? At 10:34 you briefly showed thumbnails but then the timeline does not show them. Thank you!

@@klauslomas It would not. You can keep the battery topped of that way but you need something that was made to be powered all the time to have 24/7 recording. It will show thumbnails for all clips on that day. I just only happen to have 2 clips on that day.

There is not. This is do to the location of the PIR sensor.

You can try a factory reset, but that might not be enfough.

The worst thing is it has no pre-buffer recording which is the feature to record few seconds before the actual motion is detected.

Yes, there are other optoins that can do this. Just not as small.

As far as I know, this pre-bufferring feature is only available in those models WITHOUT battery since the feature requires continuous power supply to keep the camera sensorring the motion. I bought Ezviz c6n with a separate mini UPS and the cam can last for many hours during power outage. I tried it and it last 27 hours which I think is already enough for me.

What if any are the 50 day battery limitation's? I'm skeptical this would actually record 24/7 outdoors like a tradtional home secruity setup ? Isn't the battery too small to be nonstop recording for 50 straiht days?

As with many battery powered camera you are not getting 24/7 recording only clips based on motion triggers. That is how it can last as long as it can with as small a battery as it has.

it says 50days if you use it for 5 minutes a day, its written in fineprints which is ridiculous.

If this is used continuously, how lonh will its battery life last? Is it really 50 days?

The camera can not be used continuously meaning recording 24/7. The 50 day battery day life is based on triggered battery usage.

If i cover the IR with duct will the switch will click too? How to stop it

Covering the IR lights with tape will only stop them from showing up. If you want to stop the click sound you would need to tape over the light sensor. This way it does not switch back and forth between day and night modes.

@@Wanderer001_Reviews thanks for your fast response On left side there is photoresistor and PIR, shall i cover both? And that for sure only affects day and night switching but will not stop remote waking it up from sleep mode.

@@tamerelnady You would only cover the light sensor. If you cover the PIR sensor the camera would not go off with movement triggers.
