WSW have the best and most passionate supporters in the A-league hands down. They are definetly number 1 considering they haven't even been in the A-league for a 1 complete season and already bring the most amount of away fans to lots of games, and the atmosphere at home is as good as anyone in the league, including the victory, which have been around for 8 seasons. Respect from a Perth Glory fan :)

Actually, just to add, we are talking in the active bays. One thing that surprised was the deep cheers from throughout the stadium when we scored, so we had lots of supporters throughout the stadium.

Can confirm we filled the 3 away bays plus Bay 14. On top of that they allowed an extra 300 to stand in the aisles of Bay's 11,12 and 13 coz of the allocation being exhausted. That is fact, from AAMI management as well as Wanderers staff. The official total is over 1200. Just ask the pub. They reckon we had double the numbers East Sydney had there a couple of weeks prior.

There are 3 types of WSW fans. 1 - The ones who changed from Sydney FC, 2 - The ones who haven't followed the sport until this year, and 3 - The ones who were holding out for a team in the West. While option 3 is respectable, it by no means allows you to call yourselves the best fans in Australia, considering you've been around for less than a year, following a team doing remarkably well. Oh and by the way, Australian Rules Football has been called Football in this country for 150 years.

Is that why RBB is mentioned everywhere? Football in western sydney was ready to be represented. Wanderers is only the name. This is the heartland of football , and we only needed a club to prove it. Get your facts right, Melbourne averaged over 30,000 in the second season BEFORE we won the title. We've consistently had the best crowds since then, EVERY year, Not just when we win the title. "See end of last season"?, mate last season Victory still averaged the highest crowd despite not even making finals. The reason we were third for crowds in season 1? We played in a stadium with 11,000 seats with an avg crowd of 14,000. While we're on crowds, MVFC is still double WSW this season.

true it is a tangent, but it's also fact. Victory were given the titles and by extension the fans support by refs and theyd be the first to tell you the opposite. In the same way that a section of Melbourne got fed up with Merrick, Muscat, Leijer merry butchers HACK HACK WHINGE, a big section of Sydney got fed up with being disenfranchised by Bondi toffs turning Sydney into Hakkoah FC mk2, Kosmina and all.
